He's a reliable tight end who can block at the line and still get downfield to make plays. He finished with 32 catches for 535 yards and 6 touchdowns on offense while putting up 95 tackles, 16 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble on defense. He plays downhill, isn't afraid to mix it up in the trenches, and brings value no matter where he's lined up. He's just a hard-nosed football player who gets the job done.

Kennerk had a huge year and quickly put himself near the top of the class. He finished with 84 tackles, 17 TFLs, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles from upfront. He's relentless off the ball, plays strong at the point of attack, and has multiple ways to win. Whether it's power, quickness, or technique, he finds a way to make an impact and doesn't let up. He set the tone up front all season and is only getting better.

Underwood got reps on both sides of the ball this year, but his breakout came on defense, where he was everywhere. He racked up 99 tackles, 7 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles, showing he's always around the action and plays with a motor that doesn't quit. He tracks the ball well, closes with urgency, and doesn't need much space to finish. He's the kind of player who sets the tone with effort and consistency, and this past season showed just how valuable he can be on that side of the ball.

Tarrh did a little bit of everything this year and made it count. He touched the ball in every phase on offense and finished with over 600 yards and 11 touchdowns. On defense, he added 74 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 pass deflections, and 2 fumble recoveries. He's all over the field and rarely comes off it. Whether it's making plays in space, tracking the ball, or finding the end zone, he's the type of guy who just produces. Plays hard, plays smart, and shows up when it matters.

Venis has put together two strong years to start his high school career and keeps trending up. He nearly doubled his production from year one to year two, finishing this past season with 69 tackles, 13 TFLs, 3 sacks, and 18 quarterback hurries. He's consistent, plays with good effort, and shows up on every down. Whether he's setting the edge or chasing plays from the backside, he's always involved. He's become a cornerstone of their defense and one of the most reliable guys on the field.

We're taking a look at some higly productive defensive recruits from last year who have a lot to offer and are just hitting their stride.
