The Prep Redzone Combine series made their annual stop in Oklahoma on Sunday and we had some of Oklahoma's up and coming talent come out and shine. In case you missed it, we put the spotlight on all of our MVP selections from the camp Monday. Today, we're taking a look at the linebacker position and some of the guys that stood out throughout the afternoon in Oklahoma. At almost all of our camps, the quarterback and wide receiver position groups are always the deepest but the linebackers this weekend gave the other groups a run for their money. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more content coming from Sunday's PRZ Combine!

[player_tooltip player_id='1670662' first='Dane' last='Jensen'] - 2027 - Pawhuska

The first of two Pawhuska linebackers on this breakdown, 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1670662' first='Dane' last='Jensen'] was not a name we were familiar with but that changed pretty quickly. Jensen was routinely one of the top testers in his specific group. He ran a really respectable 40-yard dash time and also measured in at 6'4 at the start of camp. Jensen is big and can absolutely fly. He wasn't the Pawhuska linebacker we were familiar with prior to the camp but he's definitely on our radar now. We're looking forward to seeing more of him, specifically with the pads on to see just how he translates that speed and size and adds some physicality to his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260101' first='Rolen' last='Wilson'] - 2028 - Norman North

Norman North 2028 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1260101' first='Rolen' last='Wilson'] is a name that we're very familiar with from previous camps and checking out some of his film in the past. Wilson is a 2028 linebacker that we're very intrigued by moving forward. In an unpadded camp like Sunday, a player like Wilson has to work harder to stand out. Because physicality is a big part of his game and we definitely noticed how much Wilson has continued to grow over the last 12 months. He looks bigger, faster and stronger and shows no signs of slowing down. He could end up gaining another couple inches and become an absolute monster at the linebacker position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1522522' first='Ryder' last='Waddell'] - 2028 - Poteau

Poteau 2028 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1522522' first='Ryder' last='Waddell'] was one of the top defenders in the state's freshman class last fall. He got playing time and took full advantage of it. So we were fired up to see that he was coming to the camp. Waddell immediately stood out as one of the tallest prospects in attendance. From a size standpoint, he has all the tools to be a terrific outside linebacker or even coming down to the line of scrimmage as an edge rusher. Just now finishing up his freshman season, Waddell is still continuing to develop and learn the game. But we'll say this after seeing his production and seeing him in person, he has a very high ceiling as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1325101' first='Vann' last='Wildcat'] - 2027 - Pawhuska

Pawhuska 2027 two-way star [player_tooltip player_id='1325101' first='Vann' last='Wildcat'] was the linebacker we were very familiar with after the monster sophomore season he had in 2024 on both sides of the ball. Wildcat is a terrific football player and while he didn't excel at the testing portion of camp, anybody who has watched his film knows that he is a guy to know in the state's 2027 class. Wildcat worked on the defensive side of the ball but don't overlook the impact he will have on the Huskies and their offense this fall. But for now, it's hard not to imagine him see his production go up with another year in the system. It was good to see him in person after seeing that production last fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1669579' first='Wyatt' last='Warren'] - 2026 - Hollis

Hollis 2026 linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1669579' first='Wyatt' last='Warren'] turned some heads throughout the afternoon in the Tulsa area. We had multiple coaches tell us that he was one of the top performing guys at the linebacker position. And as we've mentioned a few times, this was a position group that was loaded with talent. Warren is the only 2026 prospect on this breakdown so while the other guys on this list were raising their stock moving forward, Warren was there fighting for exposure and a chance to play at the next level. He certainly impressed a handful of coaches and he's definitely on our radar moving forward into the summer and the fall.
