Meanwhile, the recruiting news is not slowing down one bit as we approach June. Hampton makes good decisions with the football and can fit the ball into some tight coverages. He is not afraid to extend the play. Hampton does a good job of getting out of the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. Over the past few weeks, Hampton has had the opportunity to take visits to Arkansas Tech as well as Southeast Missouri State. He is capable of playing multiple positions on the field. On the offensive side of the ball, Vega is a quarterback who can hurt opposing defenses in a variety of ways. He uses his legs to pick up yards on the ground and extend drives. Meanwhile, he has the accuracy to keep opposing defenses honest when it comes to throwing the football. On the defensive side of the ball, he is a linebacker who has a nose for the football. Vega earned a scholarship offer from the Army Black Knights this week. He can completely disrupt the opposing offensive backfield on a regular basis. Meanwhile, he has the speed to drop back into pass coverage. He gets sideline to sideline and does not give up on a play. Earlier in the week, Smith committed to the Oklahoma Sooners. Jones has been an invited for an official visit to Hendrix College. He uses his speed to get into the offensive backfield. Erby does a good job shedding blocks and getting to the ball carrier. Erby has the quickness to put pressure on the opposing quarterback. However, he has the versatility to play all along the defensive front for the Scrappers. Erby earned a scholarship offer from Lincoln University earlier in the week.
