He displays a good burst off the snap, along with effective hand placement and the pad level to create leverage, allowing him to drive and make plays at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield. Erby’s hand usage is highly effective; he uses it to shed blockers, read plays, and dominate at the point of attack. Additionally, he has the speed and agility to chase down ball carriers from behind.

This freshman is only going to get quicker and stronger. He already flashes his elite quickness and his active hands, he portrays the abilities of an upperclassmen already. Erby has incredible abilities at reading the snap and having quickness off the line. He has a great knack of blowing plays up in the backfield before they are even developed because of his quickness of wasting offensive line blockers.
