PRZNE Incoming Seniors Flying Under The Radar

Here, I break down some players who have recently emerged on my radar and am checking out for the first(ish) time.   Check out these 2026 prospects standing out on tape!   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    <a href="https://x.com/Zander_Goering" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Zander_Goering)</a>   The Falcons experience an up-and-down season in 2024, but will look to players like senior [player_tooltip player_id='1354784' first='Zander' last='Goering'] to lead the charge this fall. Goering returns as the team's leading receiver from last season after hauling in 21 catches for 198 yards and a receiving touchdown. We have Zander primarily listed as a receiver, but has really raised some eyebrows on the defensive side where he flashes upside at outside linebacker and recorded 42 tackes, an interception, and a fumble recovery. Having watched Zander at 7v7s and on tape, I am suprised with how smooth and fluid he is when running his routes, especially for being a taller receiver at 6'2", 185 pounds. Goering does a great job using his lengthy reach to make catches outside of his frame. Toughness after the catch— will fight to tack on additional yardage as he fights through contact. Goering also impressed with his versatility, showing that he can line up as an H-back, outside receiver, or move inside as well. Defensively, Goering plays very well in coverage, displaying fluid mobility as he lurks over the middle of the field. He's is a secure tackler and can use his receiving skills to create turnovers/break ups at the catch point. Solid two-way player!      <a href="https://x.com/DuaneGoodwin68" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@DuaneGoodwin68)</a>   The surging Wolverines should be set at right tackle next season with [player_tooltip player_id='1625497' first='Duane' last='Goodwin'] returning for his senior season. Watching Duane's junior tape, there are still some raw aspects to his game, but it's clear that he has the tools to continue developing and succeed at the next level. His measurements project well to the collegiate level, standing at 6'4" and recently bulked up to 315 lbs. He moves very well for his size, showing that he's quick to drop back and get to his spot, effectively corralling speedy edge rushers. Very stout and sturdy when anchoring down, allowing him to anchor stone wall opponents and erase them from the play. Good power in his hands and punch— can stun opponents!      <a href="https://x.com/kyler_boyles1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@kyler_boyles1)</a>   Here's a deep sleeper prospect who was highly productive on both sides of the ball! Superior's [player_tooltip player_id='1625830' first='Kyler' last='Boyles'] showed out on offense with 1,207 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, while averaging 5.9 yards on 203 carries. Boyles was also everywhere on defense, ending the year with 95 tackles, 12 TFLs, two sacks, an interception, and a blocked kick. Watching Kyler's OLB highlights, I was very impressed with the intense motor and physicality he brings to his field. He reads his keys very effeciently and is quick to trigger downhill and attacks the ball with a relentless pursuit. Knows how to disengage from blocks at the line of scrimmage. Kyler also displayed consistent tackling, using great technique and power to make sure his opponent goes down on initial contact. Don't sleep on Kyler at RB either, as he can grind away and punish defenses with his gritty running style. Overall, a tough player who can bring a dominant, intense presence to the middle of your defense.      <a href="https://x.com/Brodyparr23" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@Brodyparr23)</a>   With graduations and departures, incoming senior [player_tooltip player_id='487610' first='Brody' last='Parr'] should soak up most of the carries out of the backfield. Parr only played in eight games last season, but still managed to post 435 yards and four touchdowns on only 88 carries. When watching Brody's tape, my biggest takeaway was how hard he is able to hit his gaps, showing explosive burst as he explodes through his lanes. Once he's cleared his gaps, Brody does a great job using his vision and cutback ability to follow his blocks and has the acceleration to separate from defenses. Brody isn't a big RB, but he does display the strength and contact balance to stay upright as he battles through contact. Brody runs with good pad level making tackling him even tougher for defenders to do. Parr recently received his first offer from Northwestern College, so things are looking up for Brody as we head into the summer.      <a href="https://x.com/DrewVD11" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">(@DrewVD11)</a>   The Rockets may not have the season they hoped for, but they do have a talented young group that should help make the jump in 2025. One player who should emerge from that group is incoming senior [player_tooltip player_id='1669079' first='Drew' last='Van Dyke'] who recorded 145 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, 32 tackles, three interceptions (one returned for a TD), and a fumble recovery. I like Drew's upside on offense as a bigger receiver at 6'2", 180 pounds who can use his size to be physical and attack the ball at the catch point. He flashed strong hands and the ability to turn upfield to tack on additional yardage after the catch. I also think Van Dyke could get some looks at DB, where he has the length and frame that fits what collegiate coaches covet in modern days. Playing safety, Drew does a great job seeing the entire field and has the range to cover from sideline-to-sideline. Good instincts and fluidity make him at both coverage and in run support.
