<p><strong>FORT MILL</strong> | The Prep Redzone Combine made its way to the Palmetto State on Sunday afternoon as players from the Class of 2026, 2027 and 2028 all competed well on a hot day as temperatures neared 90 degrees. </p>

<p>We will get into more observations as far as who stood out on offense and defense in the coming days, but here's a quick rundown of who walked away with MVP honors as voted on by the position coaches.</p>

<p>We'll start at the quarterback position as Oceanside Collegiate's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1094944' first='Aiden' last='Manavian'], </strong>Clover's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1407416' first='Aaron' last='Shealey'] </strong>and Mountain View Prep's <strong>Makorean Anderson</strong> (pictured above) all walked away with MVP honors – the trio are heading into their junior seasons in 2025.</p>

<p>Moving on to the offensive line, Newberry sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1615022' first='Eli' last='Sanders']</strong>, Troutman (NC) rising senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599171' first='Brooks' last='Culp'] </strong>and Catawba Ridge junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1633483' first='Shannon' last='“DJ” Goodwin'] </strong>and <strong>Elisha Wilson</strong> from Independence (NC) all took home awards.</p>

<p>There were five wide receivers that brought home MVP honors, starting in the Upstate with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1673314' first='NicQlous' last='Watson'] </strong>from Byrnes. A trio of juniors from the Grand Strand and the Upstate, North Myrtle Beach <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1673915' first='Reo' last='Stevenson'], </strong>Wren's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1658454' first='Caiden' last='Hill'] </strong>and Gaffney's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1664489' first='Ayden' last='Montgomery'] </strong>took home awards respectively. And one Lowcountry wide receiver was recognized in Oceanside Collegiate's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1592182' first='Terence' last='Johnson']</strong>, who is heading into his senior season in 2025. </p>

<p>Let's go on defense as there were several defensive backs who walked away with awards, starting with Byrnes's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1581476' first='Nasir' last='Angram']</strong>, who is heading into his sophomore season. Catawba Ridge junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1283361' first='Jaylon' last='Richardson'] </strong>and Clinton's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1670457' first='Maison' last='Tinsley']</strong>, Byrnes's <strong>Aidyn Wiggins </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1452342' first='Darian' last='Simpkins'] </strong>from Walhalla and Lewisville's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1671663' first='Jax' last='MacAlpine']</strong> took home awards.</p>

<p>At linebacker, Westwood's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1532410' first='Zyian' last='McWhite'] </strong>and Union Pines (NC) rising senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1572073' first='Elijah' last='Clayton'] </strong>took home MVP honors. Hillcrest's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1604061' first='Nigel' last='Rock'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1635381' first='Kaleb' last='Wright'], </strong>from Rock Hill and James Island's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1274260' first='Bryson' last='Bowers']</strong> all took home awards.</p>

<p>On the defensive line, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1603727' first='Alex' last='Johnson'] </strong>from Catawba Ridge, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1535102' first='Dylan' last='Stevens']</strong> from North Augusta, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1404968' first='Jackson' last='Hill'] </strong>from Clover and <strong>Jermaine Miller </strong>from Seneca were all winners.</p>
