NY '26 Gridiron Players

<p>Gridiron players in the class of 2026 that you may not have heard of but have a lot of passion on the football field that will fight to win for their teams. These players will grind it out for their ball clubs and have good talent for you to see.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">WR's</span></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">An offensive playmaker that can be used in multiple different fashions. [player_tooltip player_id='1572323' first='Sean' last='Ibert'] was seen being used at RB, WR, and on special teams as a returner. Given that, the creative route-running ability to run double moves, post routes, and corners with good separation from the DB was evident. Sending Ibert out of the backfield in the Wing-T formation allowed him to create mismatches on LBs in the intimate and shorter portions of the field. The ability to fall forward and take on tackles was the name of the game for Mason Delmarle. Equally important, Delmarle was able to present moves in space such as spin and quick stiff arms. Straightaway, he has little fear and is not afraid to lower his shoulder to truck tacklers at the second level. This is an RB that is able to use his quick feet to stop on a dime and make creative jukes on defenders all over the field. Even more, the action of finding open lanes even when it is to the outside lane was a large portion of the Modeste game. Additionally, he will mix in power when he has to pick up tough yardage in the smallest of holes.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">OT's</span></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">This is a strong RT that will straight up bury the opposition in both the run and pass game. [player_tooltip player_id='606271' first='Jeru' last='Hall'] has a ton of brute strength to pancake defenders, plus power drives defenders down the field. Henceforth, Hall's ability to conduct in-line and reach blocks with a quick pace precision was key in the ground game. Shortly, that ability to be an anchor at the RT spot in handling power rushers was a big emphasis in his pass protection.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">DE's</span></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1523563' first='Francesco' last='Diaz'] is a motorized player that brings a lot of energy at the DE and OG positions. To add, when Diaz operates at the DE position, the quickness of his feet and hands grants him separation throughout the POA. Nevertheless, the ability to fight through his blocks in the run game off the 2 and 3 techniques was huge in his play. Overall, a tough player that will go at the opponent with pure power and force. Knowing how to stay balanced on his feet was evident on both sides of the ball.</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">LB's</span></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">A constructive run defender that sets the edge at a good level for his team. Forthwith, the ability to play on the outside and the inside would flash. Balance against the defense was key for DiMura in coverage. Shooting off the LOS with aggressiveness and reading plays such as the read option was at a high level.
