He is extremely violent at the point of attack while doing a good job weaving through traffic to get into the backfield and plays with good pad level, punch when getting off blocks and shows closing speed in the open field. Also able to cover in the flats or downfield, he is a very fluid athlete, and can play either inside or outside linebacker due to his balanced play style against the run or in space against the pass. He has tremendous bend and a quick use of hands against bigger offensive lineman and shows he can counter back when needed and beat blockers with both speed and power. On the edge, he does a good job quickly recognizing blocks and taking on pullers, while showing closing speed when collapsing the pocket.
