A very high-effort player with good upside. J'Breed has all the tools to be a great receiver, he just needs to clean up his routes.
One comeback route showed J'Breed throttle down as fast as he could, change direction, and nearly come down with a catch. The effort was excellent, though J'Breed lost balance in the middle of his break and as a result, took a few false steps.

There's another clip of J'Breed running a great go route, slowing down, and securing a good catch on an underthrown ball. One more thing- J'Breed is a "hands catcher". Rarely relies on his body to make catches, which is a good trait to have.
Good size, good athletic profile, and promising ball skills. If he's able to perect his routes, we could have a really good receiver prospect on our hands.

One of the best DBs at camp, Kanaan made several great plays on the ball. In the one clip I have, Kanaan shows good patience defending the 10-yard comeback. Doesn't bite on the go, breaks on the ball, and gets a hand in to perfectly break up the pass. Though on this play, he completely gave up the inside. Fundamentally, there is a lot of room to grow.

Kanaan's athleticism and ball skills make for a high-upside DB. I saw him make a few solid plays, and considering he's a class of 2028 prospect, he could very well grow into a phenomenal college prospect. Someone I'll keep an eye on in the coming years.

I got one great clip of Asher. To start, Asher has a good inside release and sells the deep route. Once the DB bites, he throttles down and comes back to the ball all in about 3 steps. Although Asher was not the most athletic receiver I watched, that route showed polish that few receivers had. Love the efficiency, love the attention to detail, and Asher could be a great college prospect come next year. In the coming year, I'd love to see better speed.

I was able to watch Pizzo at the HAWK camp, then the next morning at Detroit MLK. At both camps, Pizzo showed good agility for his size and caught the attention of several college coaches.

You know a college coach is interested in you if they watch every single rep and coach you throughout the camp. Several coaches watched every rep closely, and a couple offered advice throughout the process. Pizzo's best two traits are his foot speed and his size. Size speaks for itself. Plus, Pizzo has much faster feet than most players his size.

Where Pizzo needs to improve is all-around footwork and hands. With footwork, Pizzo needs to be more balanced. When it comes to hands, he needs to make sure to get his hands up, elbows in, and punch. Pretty underbaked in these areas, but I cannot stress how much size and foot speed increase his upside. If Pizzo shows improvements at future camps, I expect to see offers.

Shout-out to Sam for attending another MHSAA Eval camp! I was able to catch a few more reps, and largely had the same takeaway as I did with the DeWitt camp. Anything within 10 yards was a dot, especially over the middle of the field. A few good-looking depp balls, too.
