has been putting up gaudy athletic numbers since he entered the varsity ranks of Minnesota prep football. A verified 6'5+, 260 & still growing pounds, Hauge is a rising three-year starter on one of Minnesota's most competitive Big School 6A programs who has been moving mass and asserting himself as a dominant run blocker since his first varsity rep. He's also been an offseason standout, putting in a ton of work every winter and spring in the weight room, indoor and outdoor turf, 7v7 trail, and dining table, transforming from a 235 lb. sophomore on Lakeville South's varsity to a recently verified 262 pounds and growing. The size, green athletic numbers at his weight, soon-to-be three years of varsity experience at Minnesota's highest classification of football, and competitiveness of the young man earned Hauge offers from Northern Iowa, Army, and Air Force, who offered first, and despite the attraction of the make-or-break junior eyar summer camp circuit, Hauge decided to serve his country and play FBS football for the prestigious Air Force Academy. Big, tough, athletic, experienced, Big School pickup for the Falcons, who have a great tradition of both Minnesota-born recruiting wins and on-field success once the kids get to Colorado Springs. Get to know him, his recruiting journey, why he decided to commit to Air Force, and more, below.

The Air Force Academy have recently landed the likes of Ethan Jackman (Chaska), Antonio Menard (Lakeville North), Zach Juckel (Lakeville South), Jacob Kilzer (Maple Grove) - now at NDSU, Devin Jordan (Eden Prairie), Charlie Gleason (Stillwater), Jaylin Reese (East Ridge), Sam Floysand (Cretin-Derham Hall), and Riley Hansen (Apple Valley) out of the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and those who stood tall and remain are joined by another big body out of the Metro in Hauge. Stepping in for Nebraska-bound Chase Androff, Hauge was listed as a 6'4, 235 lb. sophomore that has now grown into a 6'5, 260+ behemoth of a TE going into his senior season with some serious athleticism behind him. Highlighted by a 4.853 laser 40 this March at the 612Q's Offensive Skills Camp at 262 lbs., as well as a 4.51 shuttle, Hauge has put up green numbers at his weight since he was an underclassman and at multiple exposure points including the Minnesota Gophers prospect camp last summer. Hard not to think about him potentially making the switch to OL if he continues to add mass, but either way, the Falcons are getting a versatile jumbo athlete with experience all over the gridiron.
Hauge told PRzMN that connections and relationships were a big reason as to why the 260 lber. committed to the prestigious airborne military academy, noting that, "It was mostly the area recruiters (recruiting me), but I also had a pretty good connection with the Air Force TE coach (Marc Bacote), who wasn't my area recruiter. I went and had breakfast with the Air Force recruiter with my parents and he was a great guy. He really talked highly of the Academy and it was definitely true after visiting. The main feedback given was my blocking ability and my athleticism. They liked that they could fit me anywhere in their scheme and I would be a fit." On his visit, Hauge mentioned to PRzMN that, "Air Force had great facilities, they were pretty new, they were big, they had football only facilities as well. On a final note, the massive TE made to note that, "I think being in the offense i'm in you don't see my ability to help in the passing game. I have improved heavily the last 2 years on my route running and hands and wasn't fully able to use them to my full ability last year but I hope this year i'm able to show the coaches and other teammates my skills." Would love to see this kid with the ball in his hands after the catch in 2026. Air Force got a good one, and Hauge stated that, "Now that i'm committed, I won't be going to any camps. I am very happy with my decision of going to Air Force and don't plan on decommitting." Should be a big year for Hauge, Lakeville South, and the Air Force fanbase as they anticipate another big-time Minnesota product heading to Colorado Springs.
