Deep Dive: Johnston/Harnett County OL

He's a guy with FCS potential and had a strong junior season, earning all-conference honors. He's both large and athletic, posting a sub-5 second shuttle at our Prep Redzone North Carolina combine. That shows up in his game as he's a strong puller who can both get out on reach/kick blocks and move people on down blocks. In an offense like Clayton's, that's a good thing. A massive interior lineman, Wewdderburn's pure power is still catching up to his size, but he has the profile of a future star at guard. He's young, with plenty to learn, but he's on a strong trajectory. He recently put up some decent numbers for his age and size at the Carolinas Coaching Combine and I'm excited to see him progress.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
