Buzz Generators: Four Northern Ohio Prospects Landing 1st Offers

Some prospects in the Buckeye State have been flying under-the-radar for many months, but that has changed this week as many of them have landed their first offers. Some of these prospects are likely to generate even more recruiting attention as college camp season rolls around. Here are four prospects to know in the state's northern half as we head into June.    Great run blocker. Already a massive frame with great upper-body bulk and thickness. Good hand use with good hand placement and latch. Adequate first-step, can fire forward off the LOS, long arms and only going to get better. Lean frame with plenty of room to grow. Picked up first offer from Bowling Green.     Outside receiver. Displays soft hands and good speed/juice after-the-catch. Strong RAC, runs through contact, maintains good balance and keeps pressing the field vertically. Broad-shouldered frame with a thick chest. Could be sneaky good as a college player. Picked up his first offer from Dennison.     Great, highly-versatile contributor all over the field. Has good top-end speed on offense when he finds a crease. Abilities on defense especially at safety are elite. Great closing speed already for a rising sophomore and flashes some thump to him already. Earned early offer from Kentucky.     Very good at using his length to set an edge and force backs into moments of indecision. Can push / bull back opposing OTs and wrap up. Can shed, get off blocks and uses his length well to tackle tailbacks. Picked up his first offer from Wittenberg.
