In this edition, we cover five offensive linemen that you need to know because they'll be impactful and making waves during the season. They'll help make their unit a cohesive piece. Who are they? Let's find out!

Davenport has a good frame and a strong base. He is best as an interior lineman and someone who is a strong and physical player. Davenport shows good footwork and easily gets to the second level. As a run blocker, he showcases his nastiness and is a mauler. He is a player who has a strong drive and will pancake and block his opponent out of the way. In pass protection, he has a good first step, has good leverage, and doesn't overreach. Davenport is a player who will get regionally looked at in recruiting and has a great ceiling. He has the potential to get Power-Four offers if he reaches that ceiling.

O'Banion is an athletic lineman who can add an extra 10-15 lbs to fill out his frame. He is best as an interior lineman. O'Banion is light on his feet and easily pulls, and is a lineman who will get to the second level with ease. He moves exceptionally well and showcases his physicality in run-blocking schemes. O'Banion is a strong player and shows off a mean streak, and is a mauler on the line. He has a good base and keeps good positioning in pass protection. O'Banion has a good first step, showcases good hands, and doesn't overreach to get bad penalties. He is a player who should get looked at regionally in recruiting.

Troester has a frame that adds an extra 15- 20 lbs without limiting his skill set. He is an athletic lineman who is light on his feet and easily pulls. Troester is effective in the screen game as well as in the run game with his nastiness and mean streak. He showcases excellent technique and has a strong base. Troester has good footwork and is never extended to the point where he gets out of position. He is just as effective at pass blocking as he is run blocking. Troester is a player who should get looked at regionally in recruiting, as he has all the tools at his disposal to be a player at the next level.

Smith has excellent size and is a versatile lineman who can play along the entire line. He is light on his feet and showcases good agility and moves well. Smith is a dual athlete who also pitches in baseball, and that athleticism transfers over. Because he moves so well and is excellent at pulling, he can be an interior lineman where that quickness can be used to enhance his skill set. Smith is a player who is best as a Left Tackle because he has good length, size, and athleticism. He showcases good footwork and has a quick first step, and keeps good positioning. Smith is a player who should get looked at regionally in recruiting.

Critchlow will likely be best as an interior lineman, where he can be used against bigger defensive tackles and lock up the interior instead of being lined up on the outside against EDGE rushers. He has a good size and uses leverage in his favor. Critchlow has good strength and has good hands, and is a physical lineman.

Those were five exciting offensive lineman to know for the offseason and for the upcoming season.
