As we move closer to the heat of summer, the 2025 high school football offseason is in full swing. With that in mind, we have begun a new round of rankings updates. The most recent class to be updated is the incoming junior class of 2027. After officially releasing these rankings updates, I will now be breaking them down by position. With the offensive skills players already being covered, here are our top offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='378828' first='Brady' last='Hull'] continued to prove to be one of the top overall players in the state in his class with a very impressive sophomore season. Hull has mainly lined up at tackle but has shown the versatility to move inside to play center as well. He is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field with ease and finish his blocks through the whistle. Hull has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and pick up blocks in the open field. Brady currently holds multiple Power 4 offers and I expect that list to continue to grow over the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='500073' first='Justyn' last='Perez'] has continued to climb up our rankings following a strong sophomore year. Perez mainly plays tackle but has shown the ability to line up inside at guard as well. Justyn is a very impressive run blocker, showing the ability to run his feet through contact to drive his man off the line of scrimmage with ease. He has also shown the ability to get to the second level with a sense of urgency and pick up blocks in the open field. In pass protection, Perez does a great job of knocking opposing pass rushers off balance with a strong initial punch while continuing to work to keep them away from the quarterback. Justyn holds several Power 4/Division I offers and I expect more to come his way heading into his junior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284258' first='Rahzeon' last='Gillespie'] is an offensive lineman who caught my attention with a solid sophomore season. Gillespie lined up at right guard where he was very impressive as a run blocker. He has shown the ability to pull with ease then get up the field to pick up blocks in open space as a lead blocker. Rahzeon is also reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base and maintain inside position with his hands while absorbing contact. Gillespie currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Grambling State, and UT Martin, and I expect more to come his way as he is a Division I caliber prospect.

Another Frederick Douglass offensive lineman who stood out to me when breaking down sophomore year film is [player_tooltip player_id='1222652' first='Xavier' last='Carter']. Xavier has lined up mainly at center where he is a dominant run blocker. He does a great job of exploding through contact to drive his man down the field. Carter finishes his blocks with a ton of physicality, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to get the snap off quickly then keep a strong base while taking on contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Carter recently picked up offers from Southern Mississippi and UT Martin, and I expect more to come his way as he continues to develop.

To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='1658870' first='Jeremiah' last='Moore']. Moore lines up mainly at center but has shown the versatility to play outside at tackle as well. Jeremiah is very dependable as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man several yards down the field with ease. He finishes his blocks through the whistle with a ton of physicality, often ending in a pancake block. Moore is also very reliable in pass protection, showing the ability to fight with his hands to defeat pass rush moves quickly. Jeremiah doesn't currently hold any offers but he has received some college interest and I expect some to come his way soon as I see him as a potential Division I caliber prospect.
