[player_tooltip player_id='392779' first='Jackson' last='Cantwell'], OT Nixa - 6'8" 300
- The elite caliber offensive lineman has held the top spot in the 2026 class for the last three years and continues to do so. One of the top athletes overall in the nation both as a track athlete and at his future college position. Cantwell is a rare combination of size, speed, strength and explosiveness that coaches not only look for on the college level but also translates well to NFL scouts. He has narrowed his college list to Georgia, Oregon, Miami (FL) and Ohio State and will be making a commitment soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1112565' first='Titan' last='Davis'], DE De Smet - 6'5" 250
- Another long time holder of the second spot in his class. Titan came to the Spartans in high school as a QB and DE and soon his coaches realized his potential to chase quarterbacks far outweighed his potential to be one. He was already 6'4" 220 as a freshman and athletically gifted with a good motor and quick get off. He really showed his future as a high level college prospect his sophomore season in the DL rotation and followed it up with a monster junior year which led to him being a nation prospect. He has good size, length, strength and explosiveness off the ball to give offensive linemen fits.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130114' first='Jacob' last='Eberhart'], ATH Kirkwood - 6'3" 210
- A versatile talent and the top athlete in the '26 class who can play multiple positions on either side of the ball. Jacob could literally play any position on the field and excel. He has helped lead his team as a receiver and safety but could play EDGE, LB, WR, TE or S on the next level. I've watched him play cornerback in 7v7 and lock down a talented receiver. He has unique speed, agility, power and ball skills to go along with a great understanding of the game overall and how to play all those spots. It's scary to think of how much better he will be once he settled at a position in college. He has also become a national caliber recruit.

[player_tooltip player_id='392813' first='Keenan' last='Harris'], LB SLUH - 6'2" 225
- Much like Eberhart, you have another versatile athlete and weapon in Harris who while certainly a talented linebacker prospect given his skills, size and speed, has also has the ability to make big plays as a safety, receiver and returner on the high school level. Keenan is a big, physical hitter who also can run and play tight pass coverage like a defensive ball to go along with his impressive hands and ball skills. Colleges have taken notice of this and rewarded him with a large number of D1 offers for him to choose from.

[player_tooltip player_id='284045' first='Ronelle' last='Johnson'], DE/EDGE Blue Springs - 6'4" 250
- Johnson is another explosive defensive end with good size and length to put pressure on the QB and in the backfield or disrupt passing lanes with his long arms and the strength to shed blockers against the run. He has burst in his first step and good speed to give offensive linemen trouble or run down plays from the back. Ronelle's good motor, quickness and high ceiling has the interest of multiple colleges across the entire Midwest along with Texas A&M and Oregon. I believe he is just scratching the surface of his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='849688' first='Rocco' last='Marriott'], QB Platte County - 6'4" 212
- You'd be hard pressed to find a more athletic dual threat quarterback in the Midwest than the super talented Marriott. A great combination of height, size, speed and power with unique and elusive running ability in the open field and the strength and power of a fullback to make short yardage plays and move the pile. And to that and absolute cannon of an arm with great accuracy and ball placement in tight windows on his intermediate throws and deep balls. Rocco decided to shut his recruitment down early and has made a verbal commitment to perennial power James Madison.

[player_tooltip player_id='284039' first='DeZephen' last='Walker'], RB Raymore-Peculiar - 6'0" 205
- Speed kills and DeZephen has plenty of it to burn and has since I first saw him reeling off long runs and returns as a freshman at Ray-Pec. The clear top running back prospect in the state overall in his class with the big time football offers from around the country to prove it, Walker uses his sub-4.5 forty time at 200-plus pounds to be a dangerous weapon with the ball in his hands who can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. He is also a complete back with his blocking and pass catching ability. Look for him to have his best year yet at a senior under new head coach Greg Jones, who i'm sure will utilize his skills well.

[player_tooltip player_id='604213' first='Mason' last='Marden'], LB Ladue - 6'3" 225
- One of the most exciting things about scouting is finding a young future D1 talent line Mason and telling them about seeing their potential as a college prospect when they are in 8th or 9th grade and seeing them fulfill that the way he has. He already had good size and impressive athleticism with a great ability to run just entering high school at a tryout for Boom 7v7. Already a thumper as a LB prospect, Marden showed very good pass coverage ability and the potential to a complete linebacker back then. He has grown into a real physical specimen with great size, strength, speed and playmaking ability who loves to hit, runs downhill and has great ball skills. He has reduced his top 5 he'll choose from to make a commitment to between Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Michigan State and Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='1127277' first='Landon' last='Bland'], DE/EDGE Carthage - 6'4" 230
- A prototype EDGE prospect in college football with the size and speed to get after it rushing the quarterback and the strength, power and agility to defend against the run and fight off blockers and make plays, Landon is aggressive and gets up field in a hurry using a great motor and quickness. He uses form tackling technique and can also drop in pass coverage if asked to and make plays. He announced his verbal commitment to Oklahoma State back in March.

[player_tooltip player_id='284043' first='Nick' last='McClellan'], ATH CBC - 6'0" 185
- While he is likely to wind up playing defensive back at safety on the college level, despite being recruited by the military academies and some other schools at quarterback for his running and playmaking abilities ( his passing skills have really improved) which I think he'd excel at QB if he wanted to play there, I think he could also play corner or wide receiver given his talent and versatility and the determination and drive to be the best at wherever he is asked to play. Nick is a football player and would give 110% playing offensive line if he was asked to play there. His speed, athleticism and playmaking ability make him a top 10 player in the 2026 class.
