As late spring rolls into early summer it continues to be rise and grind time for elite ballers with each day amping up the countdown to this fall. Every day becomes more critical from this point forward.

Especially if you are approaching your senior season.

One more opportunity to be a champion, to be the best version of you on the field and set the stage for making an exciting next-level step.

And, as we have discussed before, the prize is in the process, in the action being taken now. Hoping to be great and win titles is needed inspiration, but a lousy strategy. Work the process and all the other stuff is a byproduct of that investment.

In this report we are taking a quick look at five guys rapidly approaching their senior season who have taken their off-season work and cross-training in other sports to the next level as they get ready to show coaches and scouts they are ready to dominate this fall.

The first two are a couple of big-time skill players who have not received near the attention they deserve, followed by three trench warriors who are primed and ready to jack opponents in the jaw this fall.

So, without further adieu, let's see what these guys have been doing in the off-season so far:

[player_tooltip player_id='1229066' first='Manny' last='Meyers'] , 6'0, 180, ATH, Mulvane, '26. He is one of the local multi-sport standouts I have had my eye on for a while now and is coming off a blazing-hot junior season when he ran for 1,371 yards and 19 TDs and passed for 1,264 pass yards, with 12 TDs to only three picks. The southpaw gunslinger is going to be one of the most dangerous playmakers in the state with his combination of lethal skill sets. He has been busy in the off-season playing hoops and now heavy into elite-competition baseball, playing centerfield and pitching and usually hitting out of the three-hole. He has already visted South Dakota State, had visits from Kansas and is looking at hitting camps at KU, K-State and Washburn this summer. He has been training hard to go three ways this fall as a QB, safety and punt returner. Get your popcorn handy, as he is getting ready to put on a show this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228894' first='Khamario' last='Davis'], 6'1, 205, RB/WR, Manhattan, '26. The other rising-star senior to be in this report, he is coming off an injury-marred season after missing six games a year ago with a broken ankle. This past off-season he has been busy working on fine-tuning skill sets in 7v7 and training 5-6 days a week with Coach Vornes and @Drills101 developing the hands and nuances to be a sure-handed receiver coming out of the backfield or split wide; as well as developing the explosiveness of a next-level running back. The work is paying off as evidenced on social media recently when he pulled out the steel brackets anchored in a concrete wall during speed-cord training. He has a busy camp schedule ahead, traveling to KU, Iowa State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, K-State and Missouri Western in June. This guy is the real deal with all the tools and is getting ready to dominate this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1254888' first='Joshua' last='Ibidokun'] , 6'5, 325, OL/DL, Heights, '26. The Heights big man is quietly starting to make some noise as a D1-prospect flying under the radar so far. That is getting ready to change as he recently returned from a visit at Oregon State, with others being scheduled to follow up. He has been busy in the off-season playing basketball and throwing the shot and has an active summer ahead with daily training and attending camps at Kansas State and Washburn scheduled. With prototype size, good mechanics and versatility, he can play anywhere along the offensive front and is a massive anchor on defense at the nose or three technique. With his powerful base and heavy hands he can dominate on both sides of the ball. He has been hard at the off-season training grind, hitting the weights, working on mobility, and fine-tuning the mechanics of his craft. This guy is going to be large and in charge this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1670215' first='Anthony' last='Salas'], 6'3, 235, DL, Kapaun, '26, He is coming off a solid junior season last fall getting acclimmated to the varsity game and has been putting in the time in the off-season to have a big senior year. As an aggressive nose guard or defensive tackle he has excellent read and react skills dominating between the tackles. He has been locked in on his early-morning workouts to get bigger and faster for the coming season. The work is starting to pay off as he has gotten significantly bigger and didn't lose any speed in the process. He has been working with legendary trainer/coach James Tabor with @PIAthletes on all aspects of his game and getting in shape for senior-season trench warfare. He is getting ready to attend the upcoming Garden City camp and then later in the summer at Pitt State. With some varsity seasoning and a great off-season putting in the work, he is getting ready to turn some heads this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1624946' first='Peyton' last='Anderson'] , 6'3, 265, OL/C, Chanute, '26, after a good junior season when he and his teammates went 8-3 and made the playoffs he has been hard at the off-season grind focused on getting bigger and improving his mechanics and skill sets. As a versatile offensive lineman he can play anywhere along the front but has settled in as an interior force at center. With a strong frame and hands he can wall off in pass pro or reach and drive in the run game. He is also mobile enough to pull and lead backs or chip off and cut off linebackers. Currently he is training daily and has hit PR's in all the major lifts, while working on mobility and footwork. With the high school team hitting a couple of team camps this summer, he is also planning on attending two or three individually but is undecided which ones. This guy is getting ready for a big season this fall so get him on your watchlists.

In conclusion, get out and see these guys hit it hard this fall – you will not be disappointed! Also, DM me via X if you know of any other players flying under the radar.
