I've never written about these players, and it's long overdue. The five guys that I'm talking about here are all utilized incredibly well within their team's scheme, and the sky's the limit in terms of 2025 production. Here's what I think about all of these players' Junior seasons!

Brandt is a solid vertical threat at Tight End. Usually lining up off-ball, he's a decent route runner, and is a great safety net for good possession catches. At 1:22, Brandt leaks, runs a quick out, and secures the catch right as his QB is hit. Then, there are several plays like 1:37 where Brandt is able to line up off-ball, sit in a zone, and earn positive yardage. Brandt also has a couple of blocking highlights, but he's pretty raw in this area.

I LOVE the way Brandt is utilized in the GRC offense. High volume of catches and so, so many more opportunities than most High School TEs. That said, the sky's the limit for next season. If Brandt is able to train his tail off in the next few months, he could be an amazing weapon and one of the most productive TEs in the state.

Click for Jackson's Highlights.

Jackson is a guy I gotta see this offseason. His tape shows a handful of very good blocks, the first one in particular standing out. He's able to keep his center of gravity, lock out, and hold his ground against some solid defenders. As a run blocker, Jackson looks solid. A few issues, including leaning and improper footwork, but nothing that isn't fixable. Lastly, the tape is sped up on Youtube. Do not speed up your highlight tape, it is a major red flag.

A good offensive lineman whose college value is unclear. I bet I'll see him at some camps, and I bet colleges will get plenty of opportunities to evaluate Jackson.

A ton of deep bombs from Kayvon. The first minute of the highlight tape is fade after fade after fade. For the most part, these are nice throws, though he tends to slightly underthrow it. 1:21 shows a good read and throw to an 8-yard comeback. Great job getting the ball out quickly plus putting some good juice on it. Next, 1:46 shows a good throw on the run to the endzone.

Overall, Kayvon is a solid passer and has potential as a dual-threat. I like that Kayvon keeps his eyes downfield when he's outside of the pocket, and I like that he seems like a pass-first run-second player. His throwing motion and footwork need work, and fixing those would probably help his accuracy as well. Kayvon could earn offers in the coming months if he performs well at camps. Can't wait to see what he can do!

Leo brings the power at Center, and has some promising highlights.

I'd first like to bring attention to Leo's Twitter. His page is chock-full of powerlifting clips. Scroll down two posts, and you'll find a 495lb deadlift. Scroll more, and you'll see a variety of insanely impressive feats.

It looks like Leo has a rotational player last season. His first highlight shows what he's capable of- a big hit and pancake against an off-balance defender. Leo's other highlights are solid, but he tends to struggle locking onto a defender and driving. A little better agility and better decisiveness/aggression would go a long way. Considering the amount of weight Leo puts up, he has the tools to be a phenomenal interior lineman in the OAA Red. Hope to see a breakout Senior season from Leo.

Here's a very intriguing two-way player who could play a huge role in the first year of the Crowell era.

Antwon's tape kicks off with a great possession catch in traffic over the middle of the field. Next, a great read and inside run stop as an off-ball inside linebacker. The rest of his tape mostly consists of touches at Tight End. Antwon earns a lot of targets on short-intermediate routes. If Antwon can break some more tackles and play with better balance + physicality, the sky's truly the limit. There's also a chance he changes positions, considering the new coaching staff and the fact Antwon played so many positions in 2024. Excited to possibly see Antwon this offseason.
