<p>Spring and summer are crucial periods for recruitment and development, involving team workouts, spring football practices, 7-on-7 events, showcases, visits, and more. Often, especially in the state of Texas, multiple prospects under the radar go unnoticed due to the quantity of players in the state.</p>   <p>At Prep Redzone, our focus is on uncovering those athletes who deserve recognition. These prospects have the ability to compete at the next level, be it D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or JUCO, showcasing their considerable talents. He's a player to add to the recruiting board. The running back just received his first offer from East Central. He demonstrates good pre- and post-snap vision, allowing him to read defensive fronts and effectively diagnose his assignments. Hill exhibits good burst, quickly getting north and south. He showcases good contact balance and leg drive, breaking through attempted tackles and advancing into the second level. He recently received a new offer from Louisiana-Lafayette earlier this month. Hebert possesses the vision and burst needed to attack downhill post-snap and quickly separating from the first level. He displays good change of direction, lateral quickness, foot quickness, and acceleration needed to navigate through penetration or clustered gaps, showcasing his good footwork as well. He plays in an offense similar to the West Coast style, making him an intriguing prospect for the next level. He utilized that skill set to rack up 2,235 yards and 27 touchdowns with zero fumbles in 2024. He is a true gap runner who follows lead blockers and reads the backs of his offensive linemen. He also possesses solid change of direction, lateral agility, and vision to bounce to the cutback lane. Wickham is a skilled and upright runner who demonstrates control, evades early penetration with solid change of direction, balance, and lateral quickness, and makes defenders miss in space.
