I typically find that younger prospects have a hard time keep up with the speed of the older prospects. This is far from the case with [player_tooltip player_id='1640415' first='Cam' last='Casendino']. Casendino, a 6th grader scheduled to graduate in 2031, showed to my naked eye that he moved much faster and quicker than the older, bigger kids. As Casendino develops, I expect speed and agility to be one of the overarching qualities to his game.... Then on the opposite end of the spectrum there was. [player_tooltip player_id='1641786' first='DJ' last='Brown'], a 8th grader graduating in 2029. Probably more so than any other linebacker in the group, operated and moved with superior pad level. Never once did his low pad level hinder or impede his speed. Brown also maintained that pad level throughout his reps.

Then wedged in the middle were these two linebackers from the class of 2030... First, Leynard McCoy. Playing like the real McCoy, Leynard did an excellent job of using the boundary as an extra defender. McCoy tracked and pressed the near hip extremely well and avoided cutback positioning by attacking with his near foot forward, as if he was performing a vice tackle with the sideline as his force defender... Akin to Brown before him, Mason Wattles also played with very good pad level. Wattles' pad level allowed him to get in-and-out of breaks exceptionally well.
