[player_tooltip player_id='1640039' first='Isaiah' last='Shuler'] is a prospect who has the right idea when operating in the trenches and plenty of time to get better. I noted that his athleticism could stand to improve, but once I reconciled my notes when I got home I realized he was a 7th grader. This bodes well for Shuler, as he already has shown advanced hand usage and understanding when to dip... [player_tooltip player_id='1185402' first='Kevin' last='Scott'] was a solid all-around prospect who did many things well. Once thing I would pick on - and it is probably a pet peeve of mine more than anything, was that Scott kept his off-hand on his knee when he was in his stance. I would prefer that off-hand cocked, locked, loaded, and ready to go.

[player_tooltip player_id='1523612' first='Tyler' last='Virgil'] was, yet again, another far advanced prospect who was just there. Once he puts everything together, he will be a force to be reckoned with. Virgil showed advanced hand technique and usage when rushing the passer. As he was winning with his hands, Virgil can convert and win the rep as he concentrates of lowering his pad level (dipping) and getting his hips through... I plead my case for there to be an interior defensive lineman MVP and an exterior defensive lineman MVP at this camp, solely based on the performance of [player_tooltip player_id='1597982' first='Trevor' last='Evans']. Evans has a great stance that has tremendous potential for power as it is loaded. As he continues to develop, Evans will get a better sense of when opponents lunge out of their stance and how to play that situation. Moreover, Evans was great at stacking his hand fight maneuvers as he continued to work upfield and also ran the loop well for a bigger lineman.

Finishing as a defensive lineman might be one of the hardest skills to master. Fortunate for [player_tooltip player_id='1514914' first='Tahan' last='Williams'], he still has time to develop mastery of this art. Williams was actually a prospect I pulled aside to coach him up a bit. Several times he had his matchup beat, but did not finish the rep with a rip, hips, or a move. I hope that he takes my word of advance to heart, as he has the natural athleticism and skillset to win off the snap of the ball... A favorite of Al Pops, [player_tooltip player_id='1371461' first='Yah-Yah' last='Lewis'] was very quick in tight spaces as I watched him take reps in the defensive line's interior. Furthermore, in such tight quarters Lewis was able to generate a lot of power into the framework of his opponent to work them backwards.
