Today, we cover the second half of our two-part recap of the top WR performances from Prep Redzone MN's Combine Series event held in Plymouth on Sunday. The WR group that came out on Sunday was an impressively talented one, and the 6 players that we list here today all should have a major impact for the passing units heading into 2025!

An impressive TE/WR hybrid player for Blaine, [player_tooltip player_id='1392997' first='Noah' last='Tieden'] continues to make his case as one of the best TE prospects coming out of Minnesota for the class of 2026. Tieden flashed his strength during the event, and he utilized his hands well to get off blocks against press coverage. Proving to be a clear physical mismatch for opposing DBs on Sunday, Tieden moves pretty well for his size, opening his hips and showing solid speed running routes. Tieden will enter his senior campaign as a clear X-factor for Blaine's offense, and if he can build a bit more weight, he could see his stock increase significantly heading into the 2025 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1255910' first='Preston' last='Hanson'] ranks as a top LB and TE prospect in the class of 2026, but the stud out of the 9-man state champions, Fertile-Beltrami took most of his reps at TE on Sunday. Hanson has plenty of strength, and does a good job being able to rip off the defender to break off of press coverage. Hanson has excellent footwork, and he ran his routes like a WR, getting depth on his vertical routes, and utilizing his length to catch high passes. Hanson didn't get a lot of opportunities to showcase his pass-catching ability last season playing for an offense that ran for nearly 4000 yards last season, but the potential is clearly there, and Hanson could very easily fit into the collegiate level at both positions that he plays currently.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633908' first='JT' last='Lutgen'] had a spectacular season for Rogers' JV offense last season, and Lutgen would finish our event as one of the most effective receivers of the day. Lutgen was one of the top route-runners that I watched, kicking off of the snap and proving to be quite agile, with one clean juke in particular during the 1-on-1 session that caught my eye. Lutgen is a lengthy athlete who runs with long strides, and he plays well through contact, and proving tenacious toward finishing every play .Lutgen should see a lot more playing time next season on Rogers' varsity offense as he could be primed for a breakout campaign.

We covered Patrick Mix a few weeks ago at the 612 QB's Camp showcase event, and he once again stood out among this group of talented pass-catchers across Minnesota. Mix's performance wasn't perfect, as there were some dropped passes during the event, but the quick burst off the line, sharp movement, and underrated playmaking ability was still very much prevalent. Mix is an underrated talent heading into the class of 2026 who should see a lot more playing time for Minneapolis Camden this season.

I was excited to watch [player_tooltip player_id='551354' first='Hayden' last='Tischler'] compete in this showcase coming off a strong campaign for Mankato East. Tischler posted solid athletic testing numbers, with a 4.31 shuttle and a shocking 9'8" broad jump. Tischler's fundamentals looked sharp, keeping his hips low, showing great footwork, and doing a great job at getting to the top of his route. Tischler's numbers don't make him look particularly fast, but his game speed and his ability to recover on broken routes to get to the ball was unmatched during this event. Tischler's performance would ultimately get him selected as one of the WR MVPs of the event. Tischler has a big senior year ahead of him, and another strong campaign could help boost his rank toward the top of our WR rankings in Minnesota by the end of the year.

After stumbling out of the gate with a rough first 40 yard time, [player_tooltip player_id='1648471' first='Zach' last='Hubbard'] had an impressive second go-around when he posted a 4.79 time on his second attempt. Hubbard has solid length and wingspan for his size, and it showed on the field when he went for the ball. Hubbard has good route-running ability with sharp cuts on his routes, and he had success on a couple of 50-50 balls that were put in difficult spots for him. Hubbard is a solid name to watch who should have a big impact for New Ulm's offense in 2025.
