Silky-smooth route runner who was sudden yet controlled at the top of the route, Lutgen had a well-rounded skillset for a route runner, strong, soft hands, and some impressive ball skills and 50/50 ability as well. One of the more dangerous and athletic wideouts in the 6A ranks going into the fall.

JT Lutgen JT Lutgen 6'2" | 171 lbs | WR Rogers | 2027 State MN had a spectacular season for Rogers’ JV offense last season, and Lutgen would finish our event as one of the most effective receivers of the day. Lutgen was one of the top route-runners that I watched, kicking off of the snap and proving to be quite agile, with one clean juke in particular during the 1-on-1 session that caught my eye. Lutgen is a lengthy athlete who runs with long strides, and he plays well through contact, and proving tenacious toward finishing every play .Lutgen should see a lot more playing time next season on Rogers’ varsity offense as he could be primed for a breakout campaign.
