Prep Redzone Combine Series KY Top Performers: DL

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past Saturday, our Prep Redzone Combine Series made a stop in Elizabethtown, KY. While there was a ton of talent on display, I wanted to take some time to highlight some top performers at each position from the event. Hope was very impressive during 1v1 drills showing the ability to line up both in the interior and off the edge. He has a strong bull rush as he is able to drive straight though opposing offensive linemen with ease on his way to the quarterback. Hope also showed the ability to fight with his hands to defeat blocks. Josiah also took some reps at tight end where he was able to showcase his athleticism when running routes. Paul was very impressive off the edge as a pass rusher, using his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles with ease. He also showed the ability to bend and rip underneath opposing offensive linemen to avoid blocks. Rodgers has an explosive first step out of his stance which he then converts into speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen before they have a chance to block him. He also showed a nice variety of pass rush moves which he used to defeat blocks with ease. Alsip lined up on the inside where he was dominant during 1v1 drills. He showed some impressive pass rush moves, including a nice spin move which he used to blow by opposing offensive linemen with ease. Alsip also showed the strength to drive straight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. Moise lined up at defensive tackle where he was very impressive during the 1v1 session. Marveen has an explosive first step which he uses to gain an initial advantage on opposing offensive linemen. He also showed impressive strength which he used to bull rush straight through blocks. David lined up at defensive end where he was very impressive off the edge in 1v1 pass rush drills. Headlee has impressive speed which he was able to use to his advantage to blow by opposing offensive tackles with ease. He also showed the ability to fight with his hands to defeat blocks.
