The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit made their second stop through Oklahoma this weekend in Broken Arrow and it was another strong weekend of 7v7 football. Five champions were crowned on Sunday and in a first for our Oklahoma tourneys, five different programs took home titles. In the 15U division, SayLess & Sooner 7 ended up being the top programs as they squared off for the championship game. But we saw plenty of standouts from other teams during the two days in Broken Arrow! Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone for more coverage from this weekend!

[player_tooltip player_id='1433319' first='Cooper' last='Cranston'] - 2028 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Holcomb (KS) (Kansas Colts)

We didn't get to watch the Kansas Colts on Saturday because of the way the schedule worked out. But we did get to see them go to work in back to back games on Sunday and they had multiple players that impressed our staff. For us, it started with Holcomb 2028 two-way standout [player_tooltip player_id='1433319' first='Cooper' last='Cranston'] and he's another example of a prospect that feels equally as valuable on both sides of the ball. He has good size and in our opinion, he was their best player in the two games that we watched. After looking at PRZ-Kansas, Cranston is already on the radar for the 2028 class and that's no surprise.

Dreyson Brown - 2028 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Collinsville (918 Elite)

We won't sugar coat it here, it was a rough weekend for 918 Elite's 15U squad. But that's the thing we love about these 7v7 breakdowns. Even if a team struggles, it doesn't mean that they don't have an individual or two that stands out. Collinsville wide receiver and defensive back Dreyson Brown was a bright spot for 918 Elite and he was making consistent plays on both sides of the ball. It was a struggle on the scoreboard but Brown was giving 100 percent effort on every play and that put him in a position to make countless plays. He had a solid weekend in Broken Arrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1537428' first='Gage' last='LeFrere'] - 2028 Athlete - Pryor (CHJ Elite)

If we had to pick a player that had a "breakout moment" from this weekend, it would have to be Pryor 2028 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1537428' first='Gage' last='LeFrere'] after playing for CHJ Elite. First off, it's really hard to not be impressed with LeFrere from a physical standpoint. He immediately passes the eye test. But he didn't just do that. He also backed up the hype with play after play on both sides of the ball. Then we found out that LeFrere is only a freshman and that certainly had us intrigued with what he could end up being in three years. He earned starting time as a freshman last fall and in our opinion, he's just scratching the surface on what he'll be.

[player_tooltip player_id='1326037' first='Grayson' last='Woodard'] - 2028 Quarterback - Edmond Memorial (Oklahoma United)

Oklahoma United had a good weekend as Edmond Memorial 2028 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1326037' first='Grayson' last='Woodard'] is the first of three players from their team on this breakdown. Woodard impressed us with his vocal leadership in our tournament a month ago but this weekend, he brought that to the table and he was firing some absolute missiles all over the field. Woodard has stood out to us in person in the past, whether it was a PRZ camp or a PRZ 7v7 tourney and it looks like he's continuing to develop as a passer. Edmond Memorial will have a new starting quarterback in 2025 and Woodard will be battling for that QB1 spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1147299' first='Holden' last='Ferralez'] - 2028 Quarterback - Sedgwick (KS) (Kansas Colts)

We mentioned earlier with Cranston how the Kansas Colts played well when we watched them during bracket play on Sunday. Leading the offense up and down the field was Sedgwick 2028 signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='1147299' first='Holden' last='Ferralez'] at the quarterback position. We watched the Colts in back to back games going into a pretty brutal south wind. Ferralez was letting it rip and despite the very windy conditions, he was getting the ball from Point A to Point B in a hurry. While watching, Ferralez reminded us of the "gunslinger" type quarterback. There were some dangerous passes into tight windows but more times than not, he got it to the receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='1164626' first='Jonathan' last='McCorvey'] - 2028 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Mustang (Oklahoma United)

Mustang 2028 wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1164626' first='Jonathan' last='McCorvey'] first stood out to us a little over a year ago as an 8th grader. He would take home MVP honors for the DB group at our PRZ-Next camp in January. So it's no surprise that McCorvey elevated his game and stood out again at another Prep Redzone event. McCorvey earned our attention with his play on the defensive side of the ball but this weekend, it was what he was able to do on both sides that got our attention. Mustang has done a good job in the last five years of producing high level WR/DB athletes and McCorvey could be the next guy up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1642470' first='Tripp' last='Jones'] - 2028 Tight End - Edmond North (Oklahoma United)

For the second straight PRZ-OK tournament, Edmond North 2028 tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1642470' first='Tripp' last='Jones'] stood out during pool play on Saturday. Jones was playing for Oklahoma United and as mentioned before, they performed very well as a team. Jones is about to go into his first season with Edmond North after moving from a smaller program. He's a 2028 prospect that we'll be keeping an eye on because he has good size already and he's made it clear after two tournaments that he's a reliable pass catcher. Seeing him with the pads on and competing against the state's top competition will help with the evaluation.
