ORLANDO – With former Daytona Beach Mainland and Indiana University standout Matt Lewis making a major impression as a coach and teacher, Saturday's Prep Redzone Florida Combine/Camp at Boone High School was indeed a huge plus for the offensive and defensive linemen on hand.

Lewis, who currently coaches at Deltona High School, was one of many who made their way out to the event to help elevate every player who attended the spring showcase.

As several offensive and defensive linemen – in every class – tested and went through their drills – several impressive prospects elevate their game in just three hours.

“You could see from the start of the event how much every player who attended learned, especially the linemen,” said Drew Johnson, who helped to coordinate the successful gathering. “All of our coaches made in impact, but you can see who each player watched Coach Lewis and what he taught them.”

When the day had ender and the MVP awards were being handed out, two prospects had emerged.

For Pembroke Pines West Broward Pembroke Pines West Broward FL High School standout offensive linemen Bryan Granger Bryan Granger Bryan Granger 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Pembroke Pines West Broward | 2026 FL , the over three-hour trip was well worth it as the 6'4, 280-pounder showcased the skills that has taken him from Hollywood Avant Garde Academy to national power Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna and to West Broward where he has his Bobcats poised for a big season.

All camp long, Granger, who sports a 3.2 grade point average in the classroom, dominated and stood out.

On the defensive side of the ball, there were some quality prospects who did their thing as well. When choosing the player who made a difference, there was no doubting emerging star defensive end Drew Sapp Drew Sapp Drew Sapp 6'4" | 235 lbs | EDGE/TE Lakeland | 2027 FL . The 2027 standout, who also plays tight end for 5A state runner up Lakeland, turned heads with his athletic ability and skill as well as strength and quickness.

What the 6'3, 230-pound standout brough to the table was the potential he has as a football player that is now regarded as one of the elite players in the class. His 3.5 grade point average also shows the balance he displays in the classroom.

THERE WERE OTHERS WHO ALSO MADE AN IMPRESSION
In addition to those who were chosen as the most valuable, the event also brought out several football players from across the state.

On the offensive side of the ball, there were rising senior Nicholas Ion Nicholas Ion Nicholas Ion 6'2" | 326 lbs West Broward | 2026 FL (6'3, 302, Pembroke Pines West Broward Pembroke Pines West Broward FL ), rising junior Ronald Riley (6'5, 320, Miami True North Classical Academy), and impressive rising sophomores (2028) Zion Jackson (5'9, 300, Hawthorne) and Michael Pickard Michael Pickard Michael Pickard 6'3" | 302 lbs | OL IMG Academy | 2028 FL (6'4, 305, Bradenton IMG Academy), who's older brother is committed to attend Syracuse University.
