Earlier this morning, I featured a report on five unranked talents headed to the June 3 combine at Baker University.

Here is a second report, and one of many to come, on five ranked athletes headed to the same event. Each of these athletes is in the Kansas Class of 2026 and heading into their senior seasons.

Athletes are encouraged to claim their Prep Redzone profiles by using the following link https://prepredzone.com/prospect-index/

[player_tooltip player_id='1322071' first='Brecken' last='Albert'], WR/DB, 6'2”, 170, Augusta, ‘26

Albert is ranked No. 113 overall in the Prep Redzone Kansas rankings for the Class of 2026. He made 54 receptions for 778 yards for the Orioles as a junior. He scored three touchdowns and grabbed four interceptions. He runs crisp routes and has the ability to find openings against the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1431941' first='Camron' last='Wetter'], LB/RB, 5'10”, 185, Marysville, ‘26

Wetter is an exciting athlete who can play either side of the ball and has the versatility to play multiple positions. As a junior, he finished with 75 tackles. He recorded 2 tackles for lost yardage and one quarterback sack. He had 112 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns. Wetter is ranked No. 96 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='1211012' first='Roman' last='Gage'], OL/LB, 5'11”, 250, Valley Center, ‘26

Gage has already been all over the place this spring. He attended scrimmages at Baker and Sterling. He also competed in camp at Friends. He is ranked No. 144 overall. I look forward to seeing the compact spark plug athlete work out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566699' first='Jason' last='Brendel Jr.'], LB/LS, 5'8”, 185, Blue Valley, ‘26

Brendel is an interesting prospect. He also wrestles and will be participating in the U.S. Naval Academy Summer Seminar in June. Who knows what the future holds for this tough kid? I watched a video he posted on X of the activities at the Naval Academy Seminar, and that would have been a hard pass for me as a high school student-athlete. He is ranked No. 156 overall by Prep Redzone.

[player_tooltip player_id='1403576' first='Ethan' last='Coutre'], DL, 6'2”, 220, Hesston, ‘26

Coutre is ranked No. 379 overall. He has an offer from Friends University. He is a strong lineman who creates solid separation and can defeat double-teams. He collected 69 tackles as a junior for the Swathers. He can wreak havoc, as he forced seven fumbles and recorded 11.5 TFLs.
