5 Defensive Linemen that are taking the next steps

He'll line up as a defensive tackle and can line up as an edge rusher. Brown showcases good physicality in his game and is generated with a good first step that allows him to gain positional advantage over his blocker. He uses his lateral quickness to get an edge on his blocker, has strong, active hands to get the lineman off-balanced, and will use his closing speed to get to the ball carrier. When Brown lines up as a defensive tackle, he'll use his quickness to his advantage, he has a nice jab step that he'll use and then get laterally to have the guard get out of position and then uses his power to win and then he'll use a straight bull rush to get his lineman off balanced. He sheds his blocks nicely and his versatility helps him as he can line up anywhere along the front four. As a defensive tackle, he's quicker than a lot of guards and can gain an edge with his first step and lateral movement. Hunt shows good strength and physicality to work as an interior rusher and the ability to shed his blockers. As an edge rusher, his first step allows him to get upfield well and has a good bend and is a good rusher. Hunt has an active motor and finds ways to disrupt play after play. He works best as a defensive tackle where he can occupy space, use his physicality to warrant extra attention, and showcase quick, active hands. He would aid as a run-stuffing defensive tackle with upside for an interior rush. Liddell has spent time as a tackle and has good technique for that position as well. He shows a good first step and has good bend and lateral quickness that allows him to get his lineman out of position. Albrecht has good power and overall movement patterns. For his size, I like him best as a defensive tackle and his frame can let him get to 260-270 and be fine athletically. Rushton is a strong and physical player with a good first step, showcases active hands, and can swipe and brush his blocker away. He is a player who has good physicality in his game and can work as a run-stuffing defensive tackle.
