2027 Rankings Update: Defensive New Additions

Totaled 113 tackles (50 solo), 5 TFLs, and 3 sacks last fall. He's a long, athletic tackler at 6'3"/195 with great upside in his measurables and range. Will need to continue to fill out his frame and develop his technical skillset but the traits give him great potential to build on over the coming seasons. Still raw in his use of hands and technique at the POA but shows great strength and physicality when dealing with OTs. Plays with relentless motor and has the potential to grow into a highly disruptive pass rusher over the coming seasons. He's a well-rounded DB that shows his IQ, skill, and physicality making plays and hard-nosed tackles out on the perimeter. Closes ground in a hurry working downhill and possesses the speed and fluidity to stay in-phase with WRs down the field. Rushed for over 600 yards and 8 TDs on offense and totaled another 33 tackles and 4 TFLs from his LB spot last fall. He's a physical kid with a projectable frame and strength to play LB at the next level. He's a downhill thumper that can fill between the OTs and make disruptive plays behind the LOS as a run defender. Needs to work on his technique and footwork (false steps) but offers potential to develop into one of the top tacklers in northern Nevada over the coming seasons. His film is limited to this point but the obvious size and strength are there.
