Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to take a look at the next wave of talent coming up through the high school ranks. These guys aren't necessarily household names with deep offer sheets. However, I think they've put together some quality film and are only going to continue to develop. Look for them to be even better in 2025 with some making an impact at the varsity level in the fall. Keep an eye on them over the next three years.

DT: Oswald Jacquet, 6'2" 290, C.E. King

Oswald has a quick first step, he keeps his pads low, plays with a violent upper half, and has the anchor to sit back and give up no ground against opposing double teams. He quickly disengages & folds inside, he's slippery off the snap and can cause havoc in the backfield. He's stout against the run and can knock back centers into the backfield with his bull rush.

QB: [player_tooltip player_id='1275576' first='Nolan' last='Wolfe'], 5'11" 185, Arlington Heights

A Southpaw with plenty of athleticism and Moxy. He's at his best outside the pocket when he can adlib and force defenders to lock on. He can wiggle his way through tackle attempts inside the pocket, he throws well on the move, and has the speed to make you pay on the ground. He needs to continue to work on his arm strength, but I already like his poise, timing, and touch. Wolfe is on the shorter side right now but should keep growing over the next three years.

RB: [player_tooltip player_id='1036390' first='Zane' last='Fogel'], 6" 180, Shelton

Zane saw varsity action as a freshman last fall and made his presence known. He's patient, has instant burst, nifty footwork, and great top-end speed. He has the strength & balance to muscle his way past arm tackles, and isn't afraid to lower his shoulder when the time calls for it. He's got subtle yet effective shake, he can create when a blocking scheme breaks down and is a tough man to bring down once he gets to the third level.

OL: Breckin Rogers, 6'4" 225, Keller

This kid has a quiet mean streak and once he adds another twenty-five pounds, he will be a very interesting prospect. He speeds feet at the point of attack and has plenty of turnover on his knee drive. He has the strength to displace defenders, he's got long arms, and shows lightning-quick feet in pass protection.
