The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit came through Oklahoma for the first weekend in March and it was the largest 7v7 tournament in the three years that Prep Redzone has been doing 7v7 tournaments. We've had a ton of content dropping all week, taking a look at the best players that stood out throughout the tournament. In this breakdown, we're putting that spotlight on the 18U division and specifically Sooner 7 and their '26 squad. This program had a very successful weekend, winning three out of the five divisions and having two teams that finished as runner ups.

This 18U team would finish undefeated on the weekend but they would have to run the gauntlet in bracket play, taking down some serious contenders to capture the 18U championship. They beat TheUNIT918 Platinum in the quarterfinals, followed by Hustle Inc 405 in the semifinals and Prolific in the championship game. Below, we take a look at six players that stood out to us while we watched them throughout the two days in Broken Arrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='213495' first='Blair' last='Ken Irvin III'] - Wide Receiver (Arkansas)

Over the last few seasons, Sooner 7 has reached beyond the Oklahoma border for some outstanding players from northwest Arkansas. Wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='213495' first='Blair' last='Ken Irvin III'] is a standout from northwest Arkansas that has played for Sooner 7 for a while now and has emerged as one of the top receivers in the Arkansas 2026 class. During the weekend, with Sooner 7 losing one of their top wide receivers to a sprained ankle, it put more pressure on players like Irvin and he absolutely responded. It seemed like every catch that Irvin made while we were watching was a spectacular one. He was without a doubt their big play wide receiver and it didn't matter if it was a deep ball, jump ball or any other route, Irvin was making big plays on a consistent basis.

[player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] - Defensive Back (Oklahoma)

Sooner 7's defense was fantastic throughout the weekend and they went up against some offenses that had some serious firepower. Leading the way on the defensive side of the ball was Bixby star [player_tooltip player_id='415161' first='Braeden' last='Presley'] at one of the cornerback positions. As we mentioned a few weeks ago following the Under Armour camp, the last time we saw Presley in person with the pads on, he was an absolute star at the wide receiver position. But over the last few months, his recruitment has blown up in a major way as a cornerback prospect. He has the size, speed, athleticism and on-field IQ to lock down any wide receiver he goes up against and that was on full display on Saturday and Sunday. He made some pretty spectacular plays throughout the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] - Quarterback (Oklahoma)

Bixby quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='284114' first='Carson' last='Kirby'] has always stood out to us at these 7v7 tournaments since he was a freshman and this weekend was no different. Kirby was in full control of the offense and he rarely made a poor decision as he moved his team up and down the field methodically and with precision. Kirby is going to be a three-year starter for the Spartans when they take the field this fall and that veteran leadership certainly showed this weekend. As we've mentioned earlier, this team had to run the gauntlet to win the championship and Kirby was the right guy to lead them against each team. He's battle-tested and there isn't much that can be thrown at him that he hasn't seen already. It was another productive weekend for Kirby and Sooner 7.

[player_tooltip player_id='402368' first='Carter' last='Langenderfer'] - Defensive Back (Oklahoma)

With Presley on one side at corner and Owasso's [player_tooltip player_id='402368' first='Carter' last='Langenderfer'] at the other cornerback position, it was going to be very hard for teams to move the ball against Sooner 7's defense. Similar to Presley, Langenderfer had a very strong showing this weekend. And here's the thing when it comes to certain cornerbacks, it's when you don't notice them making plays that you really need to start watching them. Langenderfer is on this breakdown because he was a lockdown corner and we didn't see him tested hardly at all because his man was consistently draped by his coverage. There were a few plays that we saw him make on Sunday during bracket play. But when we were watching them on Saturday and Sunday, we didn't see him give up a catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='593836' first='Devontae' last='Sartin'] - Defensive Back (Oklahoma)

[player_tooltip player_id='593836' first='Devontae' last='Sartin'] has been a player that we've seen a ton in these 7v7 tournaments over the last year but I believe this is the first time we've put the spotlight on him. Sartin has consistently lined up as a linebacker for Sooner 7 and the thing that has always stood out to us and stood out to us again this weekend was his vocal leadership. Sartin is consistently calling out the defense and helping guys get in the right spots. As we always say with linebackers playing 7v7, it's a brutal job but Sartin did it very well and again, the thing that continues to get our attention is his high on-field IQ. He's helping get other guys in the right place to make plays and he's consistently in the right place at the right time. Sartin is another member of a very talented Edmond Santa Fe defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045560' first='Isaac' last='Sheffield'] - Wide Receiver (Oklahoma)

Our final player on this breakdown is Grove wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1045560' first='Isaac' last='Sheffield'] and we just wrote about him last week following our 2026 prospect ranking update. He backed up the hype this weekend. Sheffield is quickly becoming one of the more underrated athletes in the state's 2026 class. When you break down Sheffield as a prospect, he's a legitimate three-sport star in football, basketball and track. The athleticism and overall speed is off the charts and he should be getting more credit around the state than he currently is. Sheffield showed why this weekend as he continually beat his man off the line and got easy separation to make catch after catch. And like we mentioned with Irvin, Sooner 7 was down one of their better receivers, which meant it was a busy weekend for Sheffield.
