A new name that caught my radar when scouting Hot Springs, is defensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1592097' first='Owen' last='White']. The 6'0 225 pounder not only shows off an explosive first step but treads well getting off his blocks quickly and explodes off those blocks into the backfield. The bend that Owen possesses also brings off a sound base of athleticism which pops out quickly on every rep. He also impresses me with his movement getting the edges of the inside box as a DL prospect that can motor upfield and run down a ball carrier. One that I surely believe has a great shot to play on Saturdays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1212286' first='Connor' last='Kramer'], LB/RB, Hot Springs 2026 Twitter

Connor is a growing now 6'3 190 pounder that is a sound athlete on both sides of the ball for the Bison. You can tell quickly that this young man has quick instincts that drills into his tape on both sides of the ball and it doesn't take long to see it as a linebacker with his pursuit angles. The great mix of speed and durability makes Connor a force at tailback and has a suddenness with his explosive burst getting yards after contact. Connor also possesses elusive vision with his athletic movement as one that can turn nothing yards into something yards. Connor is one that I believe college coaches will be intrigued with at camps this summer.

Clancy Koupal, RB, Hot Springs 2026 Twitter

Another running back prospect for the Bison that enlightended me on tape, in an under-appreciate skillset was 5'11 180 pounder Clancy Koupal. I came away impressed with this young man's pass-blocking against the top team in the state as one that gets quick leverage and can drive quick into the second level on muliple occasions. Clancy also has great pad-level in every rep he shows off and has a solid balance between his pass and run blocking. Clancy is one that I feel could see a bigger role for Hot Springs in 2025.

Danny in my eyes is one of the best athletes in this Custer Wildcats 2026 class upcoming and one that has the ideal next-level football pedigree, with his older brother Bradley Immorino playing at Morningside. Danny shows off as one that is a quick identifer with his vision and shows off the intriguing change of direction with his movement getting to the edges with great balance too. It doesn't take long to see Danny make splash plays on tape, as he took a punt return that showed excellent instincts back for a touchdown on his second clip in what was a bang-bang play from the start. The 5'9 180 pounder from Custer is one I can't find on Twitter as of yet, but is another Immorino brother in my eyes that can play on Saturdays.

Next up is one of my favorite small school defensive backs from the West River, which is Hill City 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1592624' first='Nick' last='Schroeder']. The All-State Honorable Mention selection in 2024, logged over 120 tackles and three interceptions (one pick 6) as a junior, is a smash mouth hitter at the point of attack who logged three forced fumbles in 2024 as he intrigues me with his quick processing speed whether in run or pass coverage as safety. I can tell Nick is also sound when it comes down to his football as he shows his nose is quick as heck to the ball. He also shows off good footwork and can cover with his range from sideline to sideline. He could be one that could be a splasher at camps this summer though under the radar at the moment.

[player_tooltip player_id='1592643' first='Caleb' last='Sobolik'], RB, Hill City 2026 Twitter

Caleb is a newer prospect I just added to my radar, as another Hill City Rangers 2026 prospect I feel has a good shot to play at the next-level. He shows off a burst that is well-versed with fluidity from start to finish especially on his long runs that can create good seperation in the end. He also shows off swift vision that can run thru high traffic areas and find the open field with solid ease I also llike the change of direction that Caleb has at his disposal, as one that wires it up to a T especially in the return game. He ran a 11.39 100-meter dash last year on the Rangers track team last season which verifies that straight line speed he has at his disposal incoming.
