A 2027 newcomer to our rankings at RB5 hails from a 9B powerhouse in [player_tooltip player_id='1320993' first='Grayson' last='Ratzlaff'] of Avon. The 6'0 195 pounder doesn't take long to see his vision pop out, especialy in the return game for the Pirates and would say too that this young man flashes his football IQ quickly no matter which of the three levels of the field he is on. This young man is a workhorse utilzing his durability getting super hard earned yards after contact. His constant athleticism in the open field too also sticks out as one RB that could make a move by next update in this 2027 class. Under the radar prospect that is not on Twitter yet.       Gavin has jumped up a notch with his agile movement since our first 2027 rankings update showing intriguing change of direction. His quick one-cut ability sets off an early tone establishing his athleticsm quickly and showing some constant reps finding the first down marker. Grabbing a look at his burst, you can see it amp up faster once he gets the second level as a RB prospect that can develop his vision and gathering more durabiity getting yards after contact. Gavin is a top 40 overall prospect out of Deuel to know in this 2027 class.     Our RB3 in the 2027 class saw reps on JV and varsity in the 2024 season for powerhouse Harrisburg as [player_tooltip player_id='1152875' first='Kale' last='Deery'] is a running back that surely looks more fluid in his movement this time around. I can tell too that this young man has gotten more patient waiting for openings to come thru and has grown more balance around the edges in the reps on tape. Another skillset that has developed for Kale is as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, as that suddeness doesn't waste time to appear on tape. The 5'9 180 pounder is one that I will be intrigued to see where his 100-meter track times sit this Spring   <a href="https://x.com/KaleDeery">Twitter</a>     A 2027 running back that has landed in our top tier at back to back Prep Redzone Dakotas Combines, is Mobridge-Pollock's [player_tooltip player_id='1275173' first='Mack' last='Saxon']. The tape doesn't lie, the amount of elusiveness Mack shows off in tight areas within the inside box is quickly on display from his first rep. His durability is easiy the best in this 2027 class as I would love to know how many yards after contact Mack logged in 2024 as this kid is not at all afraid of contact and from the jump, has carried next-level measurables college coaches are going to want at the running back position at 5'10 205 pounds. Mack easily is the most blue-collar running back we have in his class as one that should start to intigue college coaches at camps this summer.   <a href="https://x.com/Mack_Saxon">Twitter</a>     Coming in as our new RB1 in the 2027 class, is [player_tooltip player_id='1300016' first='Brayden' last='Jackson'] out of Sioux Falls Washington. His combination of speed, agility, and elusiveness amps up well with his great vision he shows just out of the inside box and I feel is more durable at 5'11 nearly 200 pounds than he gets credit for at the moment. Brayden is almost a guaranteed touchdown once the Warriors got it in the redzone last year as you can see the clutch genes get amped up for Brayden with his burst and change of direction when he knows he has a shot at six.
