We got front and center with plenty of live evals last Saturday at the Line of Scrimmage Big Dawgs Camp held at Training Haus within the Minnesota Vikings practice facility. With Saturday's viewing, I got well over a dozen live evals incoming between the offensive line and even more with the defensive line group coming up next. We start off with who I thought were either the top or under the radar offensive linemen from Saturday's session.

Another new name on my radar from this offensive line group was Ryan Akerson of Holy Angels. Ryan you could tell is a new bloomer when it comes to the offensive line position, but possessed the upside with his athleticism he showed off with his agile punch to develop into his senior season. Ryan is one that I also felt there might be some position flexibility in the right system and I feel his best football is ahead of him.

One of the more intriguing junior high prospects in this offensive line group, was [player_tooltip player_id='1257227' first='Daniel' last='Cox'] of Rosemount. Daniel still is putting together the frame as a 2029 prospect, but I was impressed with his technique for his age as he was one of my top underclassmen when it came down to attention to detail and growth quickness. He showed off impressive athleticism with his first step and agile movement that processed quickly with his hands in the reps that I got to watch.

Colin was one of the first offensive linemen that popped out at the LOS Big Dawgs Camp and is one that I thought got better with his reps the deeper we got into camp on Saturday. The 6'0 310 pounder from Minnetonka hit the ground running with his attention to detail showing off a very quick first step as it was evident that his footwork, athletic movement, etc. were some of his best skillsets off the top of his live eval. Colin also showed off solid pad-levels in the reps that I watched later in the afternoon, in which it was apparent his drive-blocking improved during Indy, due to what I saw with his footwork. The Skippers are already stacked on the offensive line as we know, and it's clear they have another one to know amongst their underclassmen in Colin.

Haydin is one that has gotten better every camp per my colleague [player_tooltip player_id='1292679' first='Oliver' last='West'], as I could even see the small gains that were even made from camp start to finish last Saturday for the East Ridge offensive linemen. He showed off a fiery punch in the early reps and I could grasp quickly, is one that I felt became more in balance with each rep across the board the deeper we got into Saturday's session. Haydin was also persistent with his pad-level, and I felt gained smoother control with driving his feet the more reps I watched on Saturday in Eagan. Haydin is certainly one that is a scholarship level talent that my gut tells me with be a workhorse at camps this summer.

If I had a offensive linemen MVP to dish out on Saturday, my vote would have gone in for Spring Valley (WI) target Maxx Whitmer. The 6'4 280 pounder for the Cardinals, was impressive for that size with his footwork across every rep I got to watch as the fluidity with his athletic movement was well-polished in my eyes. Maxx easily had one of the most physical punches and excellent pad-levels within this group of offensive linemen. I can surely tell that since his junior season, Maxx has relished the benefits of off-season reps with LOS, winter showcases, etc. as it's evident in his play that this young man is one that can develop his skillsets in a quick span of time.

Another offensive linemen that was in my top-tier for live eval grades on Saturday, was Apple Valley's [player_tooltip player_id='1270395' first='Joe' last='Jackson']. The 6'4 320 pounder, shows off a great amount of violence in the reps with his punches I got to watch in Eagan and from my eyes, Joe's first step showed off the athletic movement that intrigues me with his measurables as he moves with great intent to set his position angle quickly. He is a 2026 offensive linemen that I feel could be a riser after camps this summer.
