After a month of working on ranking updates, I learned the offensive line still does not get enough attention.

Kansas has long been a state that college programs raid to find linemen.

This is the perfect time of the year to cover offensive linemen and other tough positions to scout, like defensive backs. We are fast approaching camp and clinic season. Colleges and football organizations across the nation will be hosting camps, combines, clinics, and team camps. Athletes can improve their recruiting stock by making sure coaches and scouts know which camps they plan to attend. College coaches can help scouts by sharing dates of when they are hosting such events.

Two of the top offensive linemen in the Kansas Class of 2026 have already verbally committed to play for Division I programs.

Here is a look at five offensive linemen yet to commit. They were chosen for their skill, position in the rankings, and because they have claimed Prep Redzone Profiles with video highlights and contact information included for our college coaching subscribers.

Carroll is a beast. He can play guard or center. He does an awesome job when he pulls and delivers a powerful first blow. He will run over potential tacklers. Carroll has quick feet, and he understands what it takes to play winning football. The Aquinas prospect is ranked No. 18 overall and is the fourth-ranked offensive lineman in Kansas. Carroll has an offer from Central Arkansas and a camp invite to Wyoming.

Philhour is an impressive tackle with the Mill Valley winning pedigree. He already attended a camp hosted by Six Star Football. He has invites to camps hosted by Brown and Oklahoma State Universities. He understands the leverage game and creates separation with his power. He is ranked No. 21 overall by Prep Redzone and is the fifth-ranked offensive lineman.

Barber mostly played right guard for the Jaguars last season however, he has the size and quickness to play all five spots on the offensive line. He gets to the second level of the defense well and creates impressive holes when he is pulling. Barber is ranked No. 37 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 rankings and is the sixth-ranked offensive lineman. He is doing a nice job of promoting himself with social media, and he is a role model for younger athletes wanting to utilize social media in the recruiting process. He has garnered the attention of such Division I programs as Missouri, Kansas State, and Iowa State. Barber also wrestles, and scouts will recognize those skills being used on the gridiron.

Goble had an injury-shortened season as a junior. He played left guard for the Panthers and is a solid lead blocker. His film shows the ability to seal the edge and to get to backers when needed. He is a grinder with plenty of sandpaper in his game. He will also benefit from playing with the Panthers. Talented programs like Derby get lots of eyes at their games. Goble is on a cohesive offensive line that also features top-ranked lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1226637' first='Maxwell' last='Robinson'].

Barth has been on the combine scene already and has drawn attention recently from Six Star Football and Prep Redzone Scout Wade Cargile. He can play tackle or guard. He plays with an excellent pad level and does a nice job getting his hands inside to avoid holding calls. He can pull, and when he does, he is compact enough to deliver a powerful block. Barth has put in some serious work in the weight room. He has the work ethic to be competitive nationally in powerlifting.
