As a reminder, we are devoting parts of February and March to focus on key position groups to get coverage for as many players as possible in the '26 off-season.

So without further adieu, let's take a closer look at these guys:

[player_tooltip player_id='2067404' first='Jaxson' last='Green'] , 5'9, 175, RB, Andover Central, '27, he watched and learned behind an all-state back as a sophomore and then when he got his chance as a junior delivered in an impressive way. When the dust settled at the end of last fall he had piled up 1,639 yards, averaging 8+ yards per carry and scored 17 touchdowns. He is an electric running back with great burst and can cut on a dime while reversing field in full stride. He is also a physical runner between the tackles, with good lower-body power that he uses to rip through arm tackles and generate big-time yards after first contact. He has been busy in the off-season with basketball and will transition to track this spring. He has also been lifting and training with Brian Butler and Coach Tabor with PIA and is planning on a number of junior days and camps in the spring and summer. Get your popcorn handy, this guy is getting ready to put on a show this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1586376' first='Izaac' last='Popp'] , 5'9, 200, RB/LB, Eisenhower, '27, up next is a two-way playmaker coming off a strong junior season as a running back on offense and an outside linebacker on defense. On offense he picked up 250+ yards and scored three touchdowns in limited carries playing alongside an all-state back who has since graduated. When he had opportunities, however, he made them count, using his burst and explosiveness to average almost 10 yards per carry. On defense he was an aggressive, physical LB who accounted for 32 tackles and an interception. This off-season he has been training twice weekly with Travis Theis, who played in the CFL and Keegan Schuman and Kristian Breedlove. He is also heading to camps at Washburn, South Dakota State, Kansas Wesleyan, and Southern Naz among others. Additionally, his weight is up to 200 pounds while still running a scorching 4.49 forty. This guy is primed for a sizzling senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566712' first='Armane' last='Redmond'] , 5'10, 175, RB, Salina South, '27, he is another rising star running back who racked up 1,053 yards rushing and scored eight TD's in helping lead his team to a sectional runner-up spot as well as two huge post-season upset wins. Taking the handoff he has great spatial awareness and makes rapid-fire cuts before using his acceleration and lateral quickness breaking to daylight. He also has the physicality to run through arm tackles and over defenders on his way to big yards after initial contact. He has been training with gunslinger QB [player_tooltip player_id='2101915' first='Izrael' last='Telles'] and standout WR [player_tooltip player_id='1425637' first='Jay' last='Curtis'], and that explosive trifecta is expected to produce some serious firepower this fall. He is also running track and playing baseball, while planning on hitting a few camps this spring and summer. This guy is getting ready to go scorched earth this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1268347' first='Rylan' last='Morrell'] , 5'10, 175, RB/LB, Nickerson, '27, next up is a two-way playmaker who caught my eye last fall as a pounding runner who uses a low center of gravity and explosiveness to rip through gaps and has the burst to hit the perimeter. On offense last fall he picked up 850 yards on 156 carries, averaged 5+ yards per carry and scored seven touchdowns in nine games. On defense he is a ball-buster of a linebacker with great read and react skills and closing speed tracking the ball. Last fall he was in on 44 tackles and added four tackles for a loss. Once the season ended he went right into basketball and will also play baseball in the spring. He is also focused on strength and speed training, lifting five days a week and doing position-specific field work. This spring and summer he is planning to hit a few camps and combines but is still undecided on which ones. This guy is a diamond in the rough. Expect a big season this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2127996' first='Xzavier' last='Delatorre'], 6'0, 180, ATH, SW Heights, '29, he is the lone freshman in this report and is one I covered recently on his excellent play in 7v7 with the Kansas Colts. He is coming off a standout freshman season as a two-way multi-positional baller who picked up 600+ yards rushing, receiving and on kick returns to go along with five touchdowns. And, as good as he was on offense, he was an even bigger impact on the defensive side of the ball as he had an eye-popping 90 tackles, five tackles for a loss, three sacks, one interception and a pair of fumble recoveries. He brings a playmaker game to either side of the ball and with his athleticism makes things happen. Once the season ended he transitioned into basketball and will run track in the spring. He is still checking into camps and combines that would be a good fit. He is also pounding the iron to get faster and more explosive. This guy is loading up for a breakout season this fall.
