On the edge, he is a true hand striker and does a good job with locking out and leg drive through contact while able to set the edge, keep his outside shoulder free and understands leverage and angles when pass rushing and bending around the corner. He does flash some natural ball skills and return abilities while having a nose for the football and causing turnovers. He is a two-way player for Blackfoot and can play anywhere on the interior, and shows a consistent motor and some plus athleticism for his size and build. Wright is a high IQ prospect that closes quickly on ball carriers, shows recovery length and speed and is well built for the position with a strong frame.
