If there's one thing I love more than the football season, it's getting hyped for the season. So, as part of my “way too early” coverage, I wanted to highlight some of the top 1-2 punches you schools expect to see in 2025. In my “Dynamic Duos” series I will be featuring some of the best tandems in the state.

Here is part three of our new “Dynamic Duos” series:

[player_tooltip player_id='488223' first='Chris' last='Garner Jr'] (2026 - WR) & [player_tooltip player_id='487757' first='Dallas' last='Washington'] (2026 - WR)

Outside of having a new QB, the Norris offense should return a good chunk of last year's production, including an exciting wide receiver room featuring two Top 10 2026 wideouts. Junior Chris Garner was the Titans' leading receiver last season, with 41 receptions for 606 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. Garner provided the offense with a consistent target who could attack the opposing defense at all levels of the field and win physical 50/50 balls. He can take short dump-off passes over the middle for big gains with his RAC ability. Chris also showed he can find ways to slip past defenders to break free for the deep ball. Lots of upside at CB as well. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='487757' first='Dallas' last='Washington'] joined Norris mid-way through the season but still managed to have an instant impact, emerging as the team's deep-threat receiver. Washington only caught six passes for Norris last season, but they resulted in 226 yards and four receiving touchdowns for an average of 37.7 yards per reception in four games.

Honorable mention: Alec Small (2026), who hauled in 21 receptions for 309 yards and two touchdowns as a junior.

As if the Patriots needed any more offensive help, they go and add the top running back in the Nebraska 2026 cycle. 3-star RB [player_tooltip player_id='402160' first='Nelsyn' last='Wheeler'] is joining Millard South after transferring from Grand Island. Since stepping onto the HS spotlight, Nelsyn has long been considered the fastest RB in the 2026 class with legit track speed. Last season, Nelsyn carried the ball 152 times for 1,032 yards and seven rushing touchdowns. He's also proven to be extremely twitchy, with the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. Nelsyn recently announced his commitment to Northern Illinois, but has also picked up offers from Fresno State, South Dakota, Miami (OH), and Air Force, so you can expect teams to continue making a push. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='779704' first='Gabe' last='Prucha'] is a ground-and-pound type of runner who can change the pace and come in on third downs to keep the chains moving with his legs or as a receiving target out of the backfield. Gabe runs with a powerful, balanced wide base that makes him a handful to try tox bring down on initial contact. Prucha had a solid junior season, posting 886 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 33 receptions, 314 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. Gabe recently received his first offer from Minnesota State-Mankato.

[player_tooltip player_id='795472' first='Keian' last='Kaiser'] (2026 - LB) & [player_tooltip player_id='1114937' first='Ben' last='Monheiser'] (2026 - LB)

The Sidney tandem of junior LBs [player_tooltip player_id='795472' first='Keian' last='Kaiser'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1114937' first='Ben' last='Monheiser'] should once again solidify the Red Raider defense as one of the stingiest in Class C1. Keian had an uber-productive junior season in which he posted 127 tackles, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. At 6'4" and 200 pounds, Keian has size that projects very well to the next level, with room to continue filling out his frame. Kaiser plays with an intense motor and has the wide range to cover from sideline to sideline or get depth going north-south. Kaiser has been on quite the rise on the recruiting trail, with offers from Iowa State, Lindenwood, and Wyoming. Keian's running mate, [player_tooltip player_id='1114937' first='Ben' last='Monheiser'], also had a solid season with 59 tackles and a fumble recovery. He is a smart gap filler, aggressive at the point of attack, and a secure tackler when he gets to his spot.
