Our offseason content is in full swing and it's time to check on some of the 2026 wide receivers that we haven't written about in a while. Here, I'm focused on the guys on our watchlist. Usually, these are guys who are transferring, haven't played much on varsity, or don't have a ton of film, but could have breakout years. Let's break down some of the 2026 Watchlist WRs.

Bowman really came on strong down the stretch after being a rotational piece for Reagan all season. He caught 15 passes for just over 200 yards, but caught six passes for 112 yards and a touchdown in his final two games. That suggests he's going to be a bigger part of the offense in 2025 and he's certainly one worth keeping an eye on.

Due to the depth and young, elite talent at the receiver position at West Meck last season, Cuthbertson was primarily used as a running backs. However, his shiftiness and ability after the catch have convinced us to list him at receiver. If he can crack the rotation as a senior, expect him to have a good year for a strong team.

A solid, multi-faceted player, Paige actually made a bigger impact as a change-of-pace running back for West Forsyth in 2024. There, he racked up over 500 yards on just 57 carries. A huge part of that came in a career-defining game against RJ Reynolds in which he ran for over 200 yards and caught two passes, including one for a touchdown. He's great in limited space, which makes him an ideal slot receiver and he could thrive there as a senior.

Pollard has some big-play ability to his game, as he's able to use his speed to beat linebackers and safeties that flex out to the slot to cover him. He has good leaping ability and is able to use his athleticism to make tough catches. He wasn't Butler's primary option, but he make some great plays throughout the year and should be poised for a strong senior season.

Wilson has true game-breaking potential, as he scored as a receiver, rusher, and punt returner in 2024. He doesn't get a ton of touches, but when he does, good things tend to happen. He averaged over 16 yards a rush and 20 yards a catch as a junior and if he can be more consistent, he'll become a bigger part of the offense in 2025.

Though Williams isn't the biggest receiver, he can absolutely fly and that gives him big-play potential for Pasquotank County. He actually made bigger contributions on defense and special teams last season, as he had a kickoff return touchdown in the opener, and three interceptions early in the season. We think he could thrive in the slot though, and will be interested to see if he does more at the receiver position as a senior.
