2026 Watchlist WR Check-In

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our offseason content is in full swing and it's time to check on some of the 2026 wide receivers that we haven't written about in a while. Here, I'm focused on the guys on our watchlist. Usually, these are guys who are transferring, haven't played much on varsity, or don't have a ton of film, but could have breakout years. He caught 15 passes for just over 200 yards, but caught six passes for 112 yards and a touchdown in his final two games. However, his shiftiness and ability after the catch have convinced us to list him at receiver. There, he racked up over 500 yards on just 57 carries. A huge part of that came in a career-defining game against RJ Reynolds in which he ran for over 200 yards and caught two passes, including one for a touchdown. He has good leaping ability and is able to use his athleticism to make tough catches. He doesn't get a ton of touches, but when he does, good things tend to happen. He actually made bigger contributions on defense and special teams last season, as he had a kickoff return touchdown in the opener, and three interceptions early in the season. We think he could thrive in the slot though, and will be interested to see if he does more at the receiver position as a senior.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
