2025 Final Rankings: Offensive Newcomers

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep dive into the offensive newcomers in the final 2025 PRZ state rankings. </h2>    Ruiz had a breakout senior season going off for 900 yards and 11 touchdowns on 46 receptions that led to his offer/commitment to Idaho State. At 5'11” 185 lbs. he's an explosive playmaker known for his ability to stretch the field vertically and make game changing plays with the ball in his hands at WR and returner. His speed is a weapon as he is able to beat defenders off the LOS and create separation downfield. His quickness and agility allow him to make sharp cuts on short/intermediate routes and elude defenders after the catch. Strong ball skills to play the ball in a variety of situations whether in traffic, on the sideline, or going up to compete at the high point. He debuts in the rankings inside the top 100 overall at #97.      Brenner is a dynamic receiver that can line up and create separation out of the slot or split out wide. At 5'11” 180 lbs. he's a plus route runner that is precise and shows good change of direction to come out of his break with speed. Like his ability to drop his hip level and stop on a dime at the top of his route. Gets involved in a variety of ways, attacks the short/intermediate levels, pushes vertical with speed, and can also take fly sweeps for chunk yardage. Flashes a complete skillset that can also engage as a blocker. He uses his quickness and agility to gain positioning and battles throughout to be physical on both run plays and perimeter screens. Debuts in the rankings at #100 overall and is committed to Sacramento State.      Shively is an athlete 6'4” 270 lbs. with good weight distribution and balance in his frame. Plays with an edge and is violent at the POA bringing heavy initial contact to overpower opponents. Attacks his blocks with a solid base and good technique of his hands and feet. Uses his hands well to control defenders and move them where he wants to go while also driving his feet and finishing with force. Does a good job keeping his feet underneath his frame while maintaining a strong center of gravity, rare to see him overextend or out of control. Very capable of keeping a clean pocket in pass protection and clearing lanes in the running game. Showed good versatility throughout his career to play both sides of the line effectively. Originally committed to NAU before signing to New Mexico.      Waddell was impressive throughout his senior season on his way to being named 6A Premier First Team All-Region and collecting eight offers before committing to Black Hills State. 6'4” 270 lbs. he's got a solid frame that still has room to add weight/mass. He's an aggressive blocker that fires out of his stance with good pad level and leverage as he engages. Accelerates his feet upon contact to create movement and drive defenders off the ball. In pass protection, he's quick into his set and matches movement well to stay in front. Strong initial punch and has good hand placement to latch on and sustain throughout the play. Still has good upside and potential to build on as he gets to the college level.      Cash is a physical downhill runner with a strong well-built frame at 5'10” 215 lbs. His power running style wears down defenses throughout the course of a game. Great ability to pick up yards after contact showing he can shed tacklers running with low pad level and good balance. Flashes good patience and vision as he lets the play develop and finds an open lane. He can make quick sudden cuts in the short area and work through tight gaps to get to the second level. Does an excellent job protecting the football when running through traffic, lost only two fumbles on 462 carries throughout his high school career. Finished the 2024 season with over 1,000 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns on 216 carries. Committed to Mayville State over seven other college offers.
