Updated Rankings: Washington 2028 Top 130 (#1-10)

*PLEASE NOTE- This is very much just a preliminary list with the athletes still being freshman. There will be numerous changes and individuals added in the coming months/years, so expect a lot of movement.   We will have the 2028 athletes broken down into tiers with articles denoting #1-10, #11-25, and #26-60. The strength of Washington's 28' class is very apparent with eight athletes already holding D1 offers. Tuivaiave racked up SPSL South Offensive Player of the Year accolades, throwing for 2,443 yards and 27 TDs/9 INTs, on 66% passing. He was offered by the Ducks on January 10th and will be one of the most recruited QBs in America for his class. GK will be a team to watch with a ton of young talent on the roster.    2.[player_tooltip player_id='1003593' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] 6-5 205 TE/DE Eastside Catholic OFFERS (5) Washington, Cal, Miami, Colo St, Idaho   Like Tracy Ford says, "One of the nation's top prospects and it's not even close." McNeal possesses an elite combination of size and speed, being one of the only 28's on the west coast to earn all-conference honors on both sides of the football (2nd team DE, Honorable Mention WR). Look for him to continue and blow up on the camp circuit over the off season.    3.[player_tooltip player_id='984781' first='Markel' last='Newell'] 5-11 180 Safety  Puyallup OFFERS (2) Washington, Arizona St   Newell is one of the fastest rising prospects in the West, making 30+ tackles with multiple INTs as a freshman. His confidence in the secondary and ability to come up and smack you at such a young age is something rarely seen. He has the potential of being ranked among the top safeties in the nation for his class, featuring Budda Baker like tendencies.    4.[player_tooltip player_id='569908' first='Christopher' last='Ah-Loe'] 6-2 215 LB Roosevelt OFFERS (2) Washington, Nevada   Ah-Loe put together one of the most impressive freshman seasons of any LB nationwide. His 82 tackles with 10 TFL's, for a top ranked Roosevelt team spoke for itself. It's incredibly rare for a young athlete with his size to be as smart and fluid as he is. He was a 2nd team all Metro selection.   5.[player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili'] 6-2 295 DT Eastside Catholic OFFERS (3) Washington, Washington St, Idaho    We will hear a lot about Havili in the years ahead. Eastside Catholic could be one of the top ranked teams on the west coast next season, potentially featuring double-digit division 1 athletes. He has been excelling as part of Gridiron Sports & Performance.    6.[player_tooltip player_id='985348' first='Jayce' last='Halasz'] 6-2 165 WR/DB Graham Kapowsin   I'll give it about 5 minutes before Halasz lands his first offer. Watch the film as he's one of the most talented kids in the state. He was instrumental for one of WA's top programs on both sides of the ball as a freshman, catching 18 passes with 200+ all-purpose yards and 2TD's. He also had 20 tackles, with an INT, and 6 PBUs.    7.[player_tooltip player_id='1226917' first='Kaeden' last='Weaver'] 6-3 175 WR North Creek OFFERS (1) Oregon St   Credit to OSU for getting on this kid early. Weaver looks like the real deal, finishing his freshman season with 48 receptions for 700+ yards and 10 TDs. Unreal numbers for a 9th grader. Look for him to excel on the 7v7 circuit.    8.[player_tooltip player_id='985511' first='Kaicen' last='Carter'] 6-3 195 WR/S Federal Way OFFERS (2) Washington St, San Diego St   Carter is in the process of blowing up. The 6-3 wideout will likely add numerous offers over the off season, being a featured athlete as part of HEIR 7v7, one of the top programs in the West. His physical tools and intangibles are different.    9.[player_tooltip player_id='985353' first='Ofa' last='Taufalele'] 6-2 315 G Life Christian Academy OFFERS (1) Washington   The big man can play on either side of the ball, while projecting at guard offensively. Taufalele was offered by the Huskies back in May and has an incredibly bright future, with LCA finishing 9-2 last season.    10.[player_tooltip player_id='984711' first='Maxten' last='Cook'] 6-1 175 WR Lake Stevens    You will hear a lot about Cook in the years ahead. He stepped up big as a freshman for the state power, catching 20 passes for 383 yards and 4 TDs. His 19.2 yards per catch average provides a glimpse of the future.
