Maxten is looking like a big time prospect/athlete for Lake Stevens. He is just a freshman but is already getting involved in the offensive passing game frequently as the season progresses. He already stands at 6’1″, 175 pounds and will only get stronger, faster, and more well rounded. Against Ferndale a few weeks back, Cook had 4 catches for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The more I watch film of Cook, the more I’m thinking I should have him listed as an Athlete and in the Washington 2028 Athlete Breakdown . However, for the purpose of this writeup I’ll him a defensive back–and he’s a real good one. At 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds he’s a bad dude to run into as a safety. With size and 11.62 speed in 100M, he covers a ton of ground and there aren’t may receivers in the PNW that are gonna beat him deep. He’s one of the most elite players on a talented Lake Stevens Senior Gold team. Kid should make a lot of noise in the future.
