Prep Redzone Louisiana's winter rankings process continued this week with the latest 2027 update.

And a few familiar faces made additional pushes further up the list on the heels of their sophomore seasons.

Here's a look at the five prospects in the top 50 who made the biggest leaps, each moving up at least five spots from their preseason position.

No. 13 [player_tooltip player_id='1323402' first='Miguel' last='Whitley'] — 6-0, 170 WR — St. Augustine

and No. 14 [player_tooltip player_id='1356127' first='Ray'Quan' last='Williams'] — 6-0, 165 WR — St. Augustine

The Purple Knights' perimeter tandem continued to look like two of Louisiana's top receivers in a 2027 class with several promising weapons at the position early in the group's development. Whitley is listed slightly bigger, but he and Williams have similar frames and builds, reliable hands and speed that has made them huge threats stretching the field vertically, popping big gains out of quicker-hitting slant and screen looks and making game-changing returns on special teams. College offers have been stacking up for the duo as heavily as almost any players in the class, but they also appear to be just scratching the surface of their ability.

No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id='723628' first='Zyron' last='Forstall'] — 6-4, 240 DL — Jesuit

Even with a solid move forward during this latest rankings process, Forstall felt like a player who could've easily been even a few spots higher and whom would be intriguing to watch on the upcoming camp circuit. And Saturday, home-state LSU made him one of the first seven in-state prospects in the class to earn an offer from the Tigers for the 2027 cycle. The Blue Jays' edge rusher has bulked up substantially during the past year or so, but continues to showcase a great combination of athletic traits with his mobility and balance in his new build that all combine to provide him tremendous versatility to his rush so early in his development.

No. 28 [player_tooltip player_id='934574' first='Hendrix' last='Hill'] — 5-11, 175 WR/ATH — Isidore Newman

The Greenies' dynamic young standout was on the Prep Redzone Louisiana radar early with his quickness and speed as a running back wrapping up his eighth-grade year with some big plays in their spring game against Class 4A Franklinton. After working through an injury as a freshman, Hill came back working primarily out of the slot and excelled as a big-play weapon down the field — not only beating opponents with his speed, but also showcasing the vertical athleticism, strong hands and toughness to make highlight-reel catches in tighter coverage or through contact.

No. 35 [player_tooltip player_id='934571' first='Bryson' last='Phoenix'] — 6-2, 230 EDGE — Alexandria

The Trojans' edge-rusher is somewhat of an outlier here among a group with notable fall accomplishments for their schools' varsity teams. Phoenix had to show some patience in that regard and settled for junior varsity action after transferring from nearby Pineville. But his available footage was eye-catching, as was his continued physical development behind the scenes. He uses his thick, strong build to his advantage as a physical edge rusher, but also boasts the athleticism to quickly fire off the ball, blow by blockers and close out plays in a hurry.
