The 2025 Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit continued this weekend in Gainesville, Georgia with the first ever PRZ Southern Brawl. It was a great weekend of football in north Georgia and we've already had a ton of content drop, looking at some of the best players that stood out throughout the weekend and it's not slowing down anytime soon. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at some of the top quarterbacks that stood out to us in the 14U division throughout the weekend. Three states are represented in this breakdown with Alabama, Georgia and Virginia. We had a decent look at all seven of these quarterbacks throughout the two days in north Georgia. Keep it locked into Prep Redzone for more coverage of this weekend's PRZ Southern Brawl!

Bennett Taylor - 2029 - Gulf Coast Rays (Alabama)

Bennett Taylor is the first of two quarterbacks from Alabama to make this breakdown. He was playing for Gulf Coast Athletics and they were one of the more impressive programs to come through north Georgia during the weekend. Taylor was also the very first 14U quarterback to stand out to us and that happened early on Saturday morning. Taylor was accurate with the football and rarely made any mistakes. On the other side, it always seemed like he was making the right decision, picking the right guy to throw to and there were plenty of guys to throw to from this team. Taylor took advantage and spread the ball around.

[player_tooltip player_id='1737620' first='Gino' last='Luckie'] - 2029 - MoneyTeam Elite (Georgia)

We didn't see every single play from every 14U game this weekend but based on what we did see, we might give 2029 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1737620' first='Gino' last='Luckie'] the nod as the MVP of the division. We were blown away by his ability to push the ball downfield. The arm strength looked effortless and the ball would just jump out of his hands and be perfectly placed in his receiver's hands, 40 yards down the field. And that was another part that really put Luckie in his own tier this weekend. He was accurate with the football but that accuracy was still there on the higher risk passes. He helped lead his MoneyTeam Elite squad to the 14U championship game where they came up just short.

J'Mir Dobbs - 2029 - EA6 (Georgia)

J'Mir Dobbs is another 2029 quarterback from Georgia to keep an eye on moving forward. Dobbs was playing this weekend for EA6 Elite and he definitely belongs in that conversation for one of the better quarterbacks from this weekend. He was the second quarterback that we really got to watch up close and it seemed like he never got rattled. That definitely stood out to us when we were watching Dobbs go to work, picking apart defenses throughout the two days. Dobbs was another accurate quarterback that made right decisions and the fact that he's a 2029 prospect honestly surprised us. He certainly looks like a young name to know moving forward.

Johntez Long - 2028 - ZillaZoo (Georgia)

ZillaZoo was another program that really impressed us with their various teams having success in multiple divisions. 2028 quarterback Johntez Long out of Georgia led the way for their 14U team throughout the two days. He was another player that we got a chance to see very early on Saturday and were immediately impressed with his poise in the backfield and he never got too high or too low. If he made a good play, he stayed poised, if he made a bad play (there weren't many) he would stay poised. He was a silent assassin out there, picking apart the defense throughout the morning on Saturday. He's another young Georgia QB to keep an eye on.

JT Tyus - 2028 - Just Throw Select (Alabama)

2028 signal caller JT Tyus was another quarterback from Alabama that stood out to us throughout the weekend. We got to watch Tyus up close during pool play on Saturday and that was the time to watch them. They would go 3-0 on Saturday and put up over 80 points in those games. Tyus was throwing the ball all over the field and did a really good job of distributing the ball to several different playmakers. Already a freshman, Tyus was accurate and deliberate with where he was going with the football. The young signal caller from Montgomery definitely stood out to us and has a chance to be a name to watch in the 2028 class.

Zachary Bankston - 2028 - IVSAxMob (Georgia)

2028 quarterback Zachary Bankston suited up for IVSAxMob and immediately caught our attention on Saturday at the start of pool play. Bankston looks the part from the quarterback position and then when we watched him in a game, he just furthered that claim with his passing abilities. We didn't see many balls hit the turf when Bankston and IVSAxMob was on offense on Saturday. He did a great job of getting the ball to his playmakers in space and letting them make plays. Part of "looking the part" was also his ability to make the right decisions with the football. He was spreading it around while maintaining that accuracy.

Zakari Meredith - 2029 - Flight 300 (Virginia)

Flight 300 made the trip down from Virginia and after going 1-2 on Saturday, they would make a run on Sunday and went all the way to the semifinals. 2029 quarterback Zakari Meredith had a really good showing throughout the two days in Georgia. We got to see Meredith up close for a game on Saturday and then another game on Sunday. He never looked different. He was incredibly consistent throughout the tournament, every time we watched him. Similar to so many of the quarterbacks on this breakdown, he was calm, cool and collected and he helped his team go on a run on Sunday that nearly ended with playing for the title.
