Recapping Some Top Quarterbacks of 2026

These six signal callers we're going to talk about really made a name for themselves. On top of running for 609 yards and 7 running touchdowns. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Moore was nothing short of spectacular for the Crusaders. What's even more spectacular is the fact that this kid is only a sophomore and led his team to the 4A state championship. Whether he was putting the ball in the air or using his legs Moore was <span>a </span>lot of fun to watch. He has a pretty live arm at his young age and his athleticism is pretty evident. In the past years Glendale usually threw the ball 95% of their offensive snaps. In 2024 it was more of a balanced attack. Newberry is as poised as a quarterback can be. With his experience at running an empty offensive scheme with 5 wide receivers on the field, Newberry rolls through his progressions effortlessly. First things first he's a pretty big and stout kid standing at 6'4 195 pounds. He uses that frame to bulldoze defenders when he's the ball carrier. On top of being an elite running and passing threat, he run blocks like he's a full-back. His throwing mechanics are as smooth as silk. The ball snaps off his hand with a lot of velocity. But don't let that deter you from the fact that this young man is only a sophomore, and he can flat-out play some football. The Cubs deployed a five-wide "air raid-type" offense, which allowed Washick to really spread the ball around.
