Film Room: 2026 Tight Ends Pt 2

During the offseason we will be breaking down the film of all the top prospects from across the state ahead of our massive 2026 rankings update in the upcoming months! Here is a look at some of the tight ends in the 2026 class in Film Room: 2026 Tight Ends Pt 2!    The 6'6" 180 pound pass catcher will need to add some strength going forward but he has a ton of potential. Long and lanky frame that is a vertical threat on the outside. Long strides and wins contested catches. Excellent at high pointing passes consistently winning in jump ball situations. Very good hands and boxes out defensive backs. Good on possession routes.     Stepanich is a massive tight end at 6'7" 230 pounds. He has good hands over the middle as a redzone threat. Plays in-line and can also line up as an H-back. Physical blocker and seals on the edge. Best football could be ahead of him.     Whitehead has good size and strength and 6'3" 200 pounds. Blocks well in the open field and is a willing contributor on multiple special teams units. Catches with his hands and is a redzone threat. Best running short routes and quick outs along with jump balls over the middle.     Vala is a 6'4" 220 pound tight end that is a nice combination of receiver and blocker. Crisp route runner that is excellent after the catch with his ability to break tackles and has good speed. Takes short catches for long gains. Good hands over the middle and is a smooth route runner. Physical in the run game as a blocker at the line.     Webb is a 6'4" 205 pound in-line tight end that is a physical blocker. He takes a lot of pride in it as he uses his big frame to lay the hammer when needed and be technically sound in the run game. Flashes as a pass catcher with catches over the middle showing solid hands.     Hantson is an in-line tight end that is a little on the shorter side at 6'0" 200 pounds. He is tough as nails though and with his strong and stocky frame shows good hands and can be a safety blanket over the middle for the QB. Solid route runner. Could also transition into a slot wide out.     Miranda is a 6'4" and 240 pound big bodied tight end that plays in-line. He is at his best as a blocker where he plays with a ton of physicality. As a pass catcher he has soft hands and is a chain mover with quick routes.     Akalaonu is a 6'2" 215 pound tight end that has a big and bulky frame. Solid blocker and has some natural athletic gifts getting down the seam route. Potential as a vertical threat.     Minda is a 6'1" 175 pound fullback that could project into being a tight end at the next level. Solid blocker that flashes pass catching potential.
