Being a part of our rankings team, I have the opportunity to see all sorts of film. A guilty pleasure of mine in that process is that I get to highlight prospects with film that I absolutely enjoyed watching. In this piece, I do exactly that.

Although this is a hunch, I suspect [player_tooltip player_id='971794' first='David' last='Forster'] of being the younger brother of Illinois-bound [player_tooltip player_id='899738' first='John' last='Forster']. Same last name, same high school. Makes sense, right? However, see see a much different skillset in the suspected junior brother than the senior. Immediately we see that the class of 2028's Forster is much taller, standing 6'4". As a result, he is used often in fade and go-ball situations, showing that he can high point the ball very well and does his hands to do so. In the open field he showcases speed. Forster will us ehis body to catch the ball at times, where I would strongly implore him to exclusively use his hands. Something that the youngster gets, and I am excited about, his how to effectively block along the perimeter. Forster does a great job of squaring defenders up and then attacking them in order to spring a play for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id='991935' first='Jayden' last='Beckley'] was a prospect I was puzzled with at first. I checked his Hudl, to where he only had a single-clip from one game; however, on Twitter I saw that Texas A&M offered him a scholarship. Upon further digging I found some unofficial tape and opined of him from that.

It is as clear as the day is long that Beckley plays with a raw physicality that is way too much for the freshman level and likely a tall task on JV. That physicality starts with a sudden, immediate burst when he rushes upfield. Although his game typically centers around penetration and disruption, Beckley has shown instances where he locks out and sheds - cross facing his matchup well. His motor and physical presence profiles him as an interior lineman who likes to bang in the trenches, while it appears that he relishes in the opportunity to tackle the ball carrier - something he is very good at. For as gifted as he is, as Beckley climbs the depth chart and breaks into the varsity ranks, I want to see him play with more discipline. Yes, at the freshman and JV levels he can play 3 or 4 yards in the backfield and run around blocks to make plays; however, as the competition gets stiffer - especially considering Bergen Catholic's national schedule ambitions - I do not suspect that Beckley will be able to get away with this.

There is something I love about smaller, scrappy corners who break through on varsity. That is exactly what [player_tooltip player_id='1230624' first='Jayden' last='Pierre-Saint'] did for Irvington this last year. Looking to make his mark in the first post-Coach Smoke year, and perhaps inspired by the play of former Blue Knight on Notre Dame Aldon Shuler, Pierre-Saint is terribly quick and nimble, often finding himself slipping inside of screeners only to make the play correctly back on the outside. Should he find himself beat on fades, he matches his opponent's hands and is able to compete against taller prospects due to his leaping ability. There is some emergent twitch to Pierre-Saint as well, where we see moments where he gets hips hips around, turns, and runs. I also like how Pierre-Saint keeps his head out of the play when tackling, although I do want to see him tackle lower.
