Class AAA 2025 Pre Spring DPOY Candidates

The 2-way contributor is listed at a chiseled 6'1 208 and added 700+ yards rushing on the offensive side of the ball for the Knights. He has good size (6'1 215), strength, athleticism (36.7 VJ), and football genes to be one of the top LB recruits in the nation in the 2027 class. He recorded 152 tackles with 14 tackles for loss this past Fall in helping lead the Dragons to the State Title game. Brown was a stud in the postseason recording 63 tackles and 5 TFL in Jefferson's 5 playoff games. The 6'2.5 255, Prep Redzone Showcase alumni, had 147 tackles with an impressive 38 tackles for loss in '24. He has continued to develop physically and has really muscled up without losing quickness. Weurth explodes off the line of scrimmage and just over powers blockers at this level. Carolina was an HM All State selection this Fall after recording 113 tackles with 15 tackles for loss. A solid built kid at 235 that carries his weight well and has good mobility and quickness. He has a high football IQ and does a great job at anticipating where the play is going. A 3-year starter for the Purple Hurricanes that had 25 tackles for loss with 12 sacks last Fall. A technician that understands leverage, fires off the LOS quick, and has the strength to power through blocks. He is outstanding in pursuit and has a nose for the QB.
