More than 60 New Mexico prospects have signed letters of intent to play college football. However, some next level worthy prospects are still unsigned. The deadline to sign is April 1. Here are 5 top prospects still on the board:

[player_tooltip player_id='510673' first='Ezra' last='Hensley'], Deming: The top unsigned prospect is No. 4 in our latest 2025 rankings. Hensley is a beast at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, one of the top offensive linemen in the state. Participated in the prestigious Blue-Grey All American Bowl in Dallas. Holds offers from New Mexico Highlands, Cornell, Pacific University and Doane University. Many other schools have expressed interest. Hensley told Prep Redzone New Mexico that he's still going through the admissions process at one or more schools.

[player_tooltip player_id='611047' first='Psalmon' last='Kegler'], Cleveland: The No. 1 defensive linemen in our latest 2025 rankings is still on the board. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Kegler enjoyed a superb career at Cleveland and will graduate as a state champion. In 2024, he had a career high 62 tackles, 11.5 TFL and 5.0 sacks. He has been very quiet about his recruiting. Was the Class 6A state championship game on Thanksgiving Weekend the final game of his football career? Perhaps. Things could change, of course, but Prep Redzone New Mexico has been told Kegler is leaning heavily towards not playing at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='615635' first='Blake' last='Spencer'], Bloomfield: Spencer threw for nearly 3,100 yards and 43 TD in leading Bloomfield to an unbeaten season and the Class 4A state championship, so we know he can sling it. He also has nice speed. He's certainly capable of becoming a productive dual threat QB at the next level or playing another position such as wide receiver or defensive back. Stay tuned.

[player_tooltip player_id='1119239' first='Izac' last='Cazares'], Artesia: Speaking of dual threat QBs, Cazares was one of the top duel threat signal callers in the state in 2024, throwing for nearly 2,900 yards and 38 TD while rushing for close to 900 yards and 17 TD. Cazares was a standout at the recent You Are Athlete Regional Camp in Arizona, so we know he wants to play at the next level. Cazares impressed scouts there with his throwing arm, accuracy, mechanics and high football IQ. Very good size at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Somebody will sign him, and get a great athlete in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1118249' first='Joaquin' last='Wofford'], Las Cruces: Wofford is a man-child at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds. He was the anchor of the Bulldawgs' offensive line and had an integral role in the superb seasons enjoyed by QB [player_tooltip player_id='853029' first='Gunnar' last='Guardiola'] and RB [player_tooltip player_id='1137388' first='Daniel' last='Amaro']. Currently holds offers from New Mexico Highlands, Western New Mexico and Sul Ross State. Just a matter of deciding which school is the best fit and signing the letter of intent.
