<h2 class="wp-block-heading">In-depth evaluations of the some of the top ranked prospects in the initial 2028 PRZ state rankings.</h2>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">*Prospects must have varsity film to be eligible for the rankings.</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Brandon comes in as PRZ's top ranked running back in the initial 2028 state rankings. At 5'10” 185 lbs. he's a dynamic athlete that is quick and agile through the first level. He's patient as he allows the play and his blocks to develop and then accelerates through the running lane with speed. He's decisive when attacking with change of direction and quick cut ability to make defenders miss and break away to space. Low center of gravity and good balance contribute to his ability to make sharp cuts and burst out with little wasted motion. Like his ability to get skinny and squeeze through tight spaces between the tackles. Flashes plus field vision and spatial awareness to find space and know where defenders are to extend gains past the second level. Recently picked up his first offer from Idaho and will move up recruiting boards as he sees more opportunities to showcase his skillset over the next several years.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">The top ranked 2028 DB prospect in the initial PRZ state rankings. He's got a versatile skillset to play any position in the secondary with plus ability in coverage and coming down in run support. He's got a good nose for the football using his instincts and anticipation to locate his threat and trigger to the ball. Plays with good pad level to quickly change directions and accelerate out of his break to close separation. Great ball skills and awareness to create big plays and turnovers, finished the season leading the 2028 class in interceptions with seven also having two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. Strong tackler that can break down in space and be reliable. Lean frame but can bring heavy contact when he is able to line up a ball carrier and accelerate through the POA. Exceled out of the slot and in the return game as a freshman for Thunderbird. He's a high level athlete that possesses the speed and quickness to create separation at all three levels. Strong drive phase with good acceleration out of his stance allows him to close on DB's cushion and then run by using his long speed. Excellent ball judgement skills and adjustment ability. He attacks the football in the air while showing the body control and coordination to make difficult grabs outside his framework. Dangerous after the catch, he's a tough tackle in space with the ability to make defenders miss using his speed and lateral quickness. Was one of the leading receivers in the 2028 class with 575 yards and nine touchdowns on 30 receptions. At 5'10” 185 lbs. he's got a strong build with good growth potential as he develops. More of a downhill power back but flashes some lateral quickness and burst. Presses the LOS quickly and runs through first contact with strength and leg drive. He's able to absorb hits and maintain balance while sustaining his momentum to move the pile and fall forward. Love his ability to lower the shoulder and run through contact at the second level. A physical ball carrier that will grind out tough yards between the tackles and extend gains into the secondary. Good upside as he progresses.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">A lot to like about the second ranked DB prospect in the 2028 class. He's a solid cover corner with plus athleticism, quickness, and short area burst. Fluid with his movement from his back pedal to his transition, he's under control and efficient with his footwork. Great reactionary quickness to come out of his break with speed and close space on the ball. Like his route recognition skills, he's able to stay in phase and run the route with the receiver to limit separation and put himself in position to make a play at the catch point. Does a good job disrupting throwing lanes with good anticipation and ball skills. Consistently gets his head around to locate the football using good awareness and timing when tracking it in the air. Confident one on one open field tackler that wraps to the ground and isn't afraid of contact.
