Is a basketball player over at Downingtown West. Will likely be recruited to play a combination of WR/DB, depending on how coaches view him. I like BGK at wideout specifically, his recent production spike post-Malvern Prep looked promising. I liked what I saw out of Goode-Kimble at our camp as well, was named to our 3rd-Team All-Camp list. Great H/W combination that allows him to stay both agile/nimble, while being tough enough to handle press coverage and/or catch balls through contact. I could see Army WP, Buffalo, as well as others inquire on BGK. More production, proving his speed, keeping his grades high, staying in the weight room, all crucial areas to maintain if he wants to elevate his stock.

Sophomore Season Highlights
(9 games played)
Stats
14 Rec
254 yrds
2tds
1 int
27 tackleshttps://t.co/oR9ie4yGuO

ATH
13-2 District 1 Champions
6'1 | 175@coachkline76 @PrepRedzonePA @PRZPAvic @FootballDwest @PaFootballNews @PAPrepsRivals @EliteHSscouting @TopPreps… pic.twitter.com/7m4Yjq8LUG
— [player_tooltip player_id='913609' first='Brendon' last='Goode-Kimble'] (@BrendonKimble) December 2, 2024

WL ------> Top 75 Placement

Group of Five Grade/Ceiling

Will have to endure coaches who are skeptical of level of competition over at Mount Carmel. I do think, however, that Delaney is capable of FBS attention. Whether or not he ever meets that threshold is entirely up to him. 1,000 scrimmage yards racked up as a sophomore, 13 total TDs. Production/stats fall low on the recruiting totem poll, thankfully, Delaney shows traits that might entice FBS programs recruiting Pennsylvania. Breakaway speed, can maintain route discipline while tracking the ball downfield. Can separate against this level of competition with ease. Can score via screen or post, he provides scoring ability from anywhere on the field. An understanding of leverage displayed. Great post-catch vision, heard good things about his work ethic and coachability too. Can't find any information about his measurables, however. This could be a red-flag to coaches inquiring.

Sophomore Season!!
•791 receiving yards, 214 rushing
•13 total td's
•1 caused fumble
•2 int's (1 td)
•24 total tackles
•1,211 AP yards
•Broke school record for catches in a game and season!! @GOBIGRED19 @JK_SpeedKillz @StarIncPT @PaFootballNewshttps://t.co/e3y8qHExGr
— [player_tooltip player_id='1508941' first='Jaylen' last='Delaney'] (@JaylenDelaney6) November 9, 2024

WL ------> Top 75 Placement

Group of Five Grade/Ceiling

6'2, 177 pounds. 3.7 GPA. Fantastic build, can argue it's the best build on this list, one that fully encompasses what Division One WR coaches look for. First rep on tape has Melvin striding past defenders and high-pointing a ball. Melvin gets his elbows above the defenders helmet on this leap. Good rep showcasing his body control ability, as well as some hand-eye coordination skills. This is an FBS capable pass-catcher, so long as he continues to trend in the right direction. Melvin will have to combat 1A ball skeptics.

Full Szn Film!!!@CrusadersFball @Coach_Rich4 @MarcusAdemilola @PineStar11 @The_hive_ath @210ths @PA_TodaySports @wpialsportsnews https://t.co/eYs0k0z5KV pic.twitter.com/cXCKNbXcrG
— [player_tooltip player_id='913666' first='Justin' last='Melvin'] (@JustinMelvin_) November 29, 2024

WL ------> Top 150 Placement

FCS Grade/Ceiling

6'2, 175 pounds. 3.9 GPA. Has some great self-reported unverified testing numbers (4.65 40, 43'2 TJ, 20'8 LJ). Is a basketball player over at Wyoming Area. Received an FCS grade from myself after watching his sophomore tape. This always subject to change, especially being at this early stage in recruiting. Accounted for 850+ receiving yards as a sophomore. First rep showcases his soft hands, he reels in a one-hand catch downfield with ease. This rep didn't show off his brilliant contested catch ability, as many other reps later on tape would convey. Can box out kids and utilize body leverage to make sure he clears a lane for his hands to meet the football. Competition level will have to be factored in, Kopetchny will have to prove he can separate with technique and nuance against elite DBs if he's ever going to play at the D1 level, I think he's capable of doing so, just a matter of proving it.

Check out my end of season highlights - https://t.co/2MT6anw0VD
— [player_tooltip player_id='1433097' first='Luke' last='Kopetchny'] (@LukeKopetchny1) November 21, 2024
